Our kids are 5 and 2, and they had a blast! They loved the train ride, tractor/cow ride, pumpkin moon bounce, and the slides! My two year old was entranced with the train ride and large sand pit, and we ran out of time or we would have enjoyed the hay ride also! It was a nice way to spend an afternoon in the fall with young kids. Also, the French fries were the best fresh cut fries we have had in a long time!

Spent a very lovely day here. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious (especially the fries) and reasonably priced. A relaxing afternoon amongst the sunflowers

We went for the sunflower festival this weekend and everything was great. All the staff were kind and seemed to enjoy their work. Fries were yummy. Music was great.

First visit to this please and not quite sure how I feel about it. It is a bit overpriced especially for adults being $19. We were there on a very warm day, the band was great but it seems like this whole place just needs a schedule. You just go in and basically do what you want which is okay just seemed unorganized.we went today and the train stopped working, they told us it would be an hour to fix and an hour and a half later we still had no train so we left bc we had already been there 2 hours, We were not offered anything because of this inconvenience even though that is one of the main attractions to go on the train ride! They only do the animal races one time a day so you have to look at what time when you arrive. There were some cool things like the slide made out of a combine and the tall slide in the hill but it just seems this place needs more excitement and explanation of navigating through the barnyard!

I came here for the sunflower festival the farm was advertising on their website - seemed fun. I left after an hour because it just wasn’t worth it.

The place was practically empty - there was a handful of people here & there. The sunflowers were already starting to die & it was difficult to find ones that were well kept. I was only allowed to take one & had to pay extra for more even though I already paid $19, which is way overpriced.

There wasn’t much to do for adults. The farm grounds is definitely directed towards kids more than adults. They should’ve given kids & adults tickets. Why? Because I’m a grown woman & was offered to dig fossils….

Overall I wasn’t impressed. It seems the farm needs improvement with marketing, advertising & what they offer.

Went to the Sunflower Festival August 26,2023 just to listen to the band. Was surprised that the entrance fee was $18, now grant it that did give you a ticket for the train ride, one sunflower you picked yourself in the sunflower field and entrance to the mine to do a fossil dig.

If I did not want to hear the band, I would have left, I felt bad for the band there was hardly anyone there, my friend who was with me did not want to stay and pay the price, I told her we were there to support the band and paid her way. I think they need a price just to get in and listen to the band, we did not need, the ride, dig or picking our own flower, all though we did them all, we felt we had to you get our money's worth. We did buy two drinks, a water and food too, the French fries were great.

The entire place is great, I just think they need to adjust the prices. I would have went back today, to just listen to the band again, they were awesome, but did not want to pay the entrance price again. I do not know how an average working family could afford this, if I took all my grandchildren it would have cost over $120 just to walk in and that's not buying anything extra. My grandchildren are old enough to wander around by themselves, I would have just listened to the music, instead of a child's price how about an "adult only listen to the music price" rant over

My kids enjoyed the farm fun! Their slides and huge inflatable pumpkin were a hit. My daughter loved feeding the animals and it was worth the extra $1.50 for the feed. The barrel ride and train ride were a nice slow part of the day. My husband and I also enjoyed the slides with our kids. It was nice to get a sunflower with our ticket and they enjoyed picking their own.

We visited here 2 years ago and the kids loved it then and still now. Though we visited in October and there were more people around. We enjoyed the extra perks with the entry ticket this time around and the live music was nice. But would suggest not going when there is a hit wave, unless you like being where there is less people.

My only suggestion would be for the fossil dig to have examples of what can be found. Even with that my young kids enjoyed digging in the dirt regardless of what they were to find.

Good place for children. Had a Springhouse stand there day stopped by. Saw some animals, picked some potatoes from the ground. Not much to do as an adult without children, but was a decent stop for an hour.

Great farm store-very friendly people who own/work here - (a previous review saddened me - a poster said their children were yelled at for chasing animals, while there were no signs prohibiting this behavior- signs shouldn’t be necessary, and parents should be teaching their children not to tease/harass animals - the parent also said they were following a 14 year old’s behavior- another great parenting lesson would be to children - just because someone else is doing something wrong, doesn’t mean you can do it, too)

We visited Country Barn Market for Easter weekend this year.

First we are had the breakfast and pictures with the Easter Bunny. Overall, not bad. Food was decent for a buffet, and the pictures with the bunny were ok.

Then we went outside to the farm for the activities. They allowed full interaction with the farm animals, which out of the many years I have visited PA, I have never seen before. Most who opted to purchase food for the animals were greeted immediately by the goats and then followed until the food bag was empty.

There was a younger girl, about 14 or so who was petting the animals and walking with them. I assumed she worked there. She was being chased by them and chasing them but mildly, in a joking manner. Other children began to follow suit and quickly it became a caravan of kids and farm animals. A golf cart appeared out of nowhere and the passenger from the cart began berating and SCREAMING at the 14-year-old girl. “DO NOT CHASE THE ANIMALS, I WILL THROW YOU OUT” on the very top of his lungs. The proceeded to scold her for over 30 seconds. The cart then approaches my family surrounded by other families and the same man begins yelling at us. “DON’T LET YOUR KIDS CHASE THE ANIMALS”. My husband and I quickly countered telling him to put up a sign and speak politely to YOUR customers. He laughed and said, “Put up a sign”, and drove a way. We had tickets for the train ride after which we immediately went to the ticket counter and requested a refund. The employee was apologetic and mentioned this was the first time they were trying an open field/interaction with the animals. She called the “manager” to come speak with us. The “manager” initially denied a refund for the train ride and was less than helpful or concerned. She eventually gave the refund for the train ride. Fairly certain the “manager” was the wife of the disrespectful degenerate who was yelling at the customers.

This is 2023. We live in a world where most people do not live on a farm. If you have certain rules you want your customers to follow, most post signs or make the customers aware of the rules ahead of time. Not smart or safe to assume your customers will follow your “Farm Rules”. If you have issues with how your customers are behaving, do not speak to them in a manner that is offensive or berate them, regardless of age. There are families around, children around, and most of all, these are customers that are paying and most likely keeping your dirty, dumpy farm going. Shame on you. We hope no one ever has to be subjected to an employee like we witnessed that day. I hope this review travels far!

My family went for the breakfast with the easter bunby. They advertised a buffet breakfast but yet a miserable old woman serving bacon and sausage rudely said to my father “Didn’t I already give you Some before? ” They gave him 2 scrawny pieces and i don't see how that was a necessary thing to say! We paid for the breakfast! It wasn’t even good quality anyway! Don’t advertise a buffet if you are gonna be cheap and stingy! Not only that but the photos they take were poor quality, the whole easter egg hunt and everything was unorganized, the prizes for the egg hunt were cheap. We won’t be back.

This place has horrible management, I would give 1 star if it was possible. They have no respect for there staff, i've seen one of the staff cry because of someone higher up in the buisness being disrespectful over nothing. The staff there are extremely sweet and I'm extremely sorry for what the they go through.

I just moved to Mountville & this past Saturday I was going to a Penn Manner midget football game & went past the farm for the first time. I stopped on the way home to get information about the corn maze & all the fun stuff that was going on. The next day on Sunday, I went & had a WONDERFUL time. I was there all day & did so many fun things. It was so nice to be able to spend time on a farm again. When I had my horses I had to board because I lived in town. I really missed being around animals & out in the country. The pig & duck races were so much fun to watch, you do not want to miss it. This place is a great find for me. Now that I know it is here I plan on visiting again. I got my pumpkin from there & carved it. It looks great on my front porch. I am so glad to see a working farm still going. These people work VERY HARD & long hours for not much pay. My dad grew up on a farm & I remember & loved the stories he would tell me. PLEASE support local farmers, they really need our help.

Such a fun way to spend a Saturday. We were looking for something to do fall related and this checked all the boxes. And the lunch here was delicious. Came to pick pumpkins but there was so much to keep us busy that we ran out of time and left without pumpkins. My son had a blast on the bouncy pumpkin and all the slides. Didn't think the prices were terrible considering it was supporting a fellow farmer.
