Country Inn of Lancaster

I loved the feel of the country inn. There are snacks and beverages around the clock and the facility is very clean and in a good area.

This is such a quaint place. A breath of fresh air compared to a lot of the chain hotels around it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I wish I could give you five stars, but the main reason I choosed you, was because of the "Hot tub", and it wasn't working. I wasn't happy, the rest was ok.

Bad smell on hallway. Ants crowling in bathroom and breakfast area is too small.

Had a pleasant experience here. The toilet in our room had the seat sliding and was low to the ground, and the sink was leaking. Aside from that, it was really great. They had a nice, small breakfast, the bed was very cozy, and they have a great porch out back to read on. Some of the first floor rooms also have a deck for you to sit on. I definitely recommend coming here.

Quiet inn outside of the main part of Lancaster. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit aged but in overall good shape. Minor detraction is that our portion of the hotel is disconnected from the main portion so we had to go outside to get to the pool. Not too bad on the days we stayed there but it's probably frigid in winter.
We would definitely stay there again.

Very homey and comfortable for an overnight stay. Continental breakfast items were plentiful and wonderful fuel for the day of shopping.

Quaint Amish Inn. Upon entrance there is a warm lodge area that allows guests complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and snacks with comfy seats by a fireplace. Has a many imenities. The convenience of the central location to so many of Lancasters hot spots. Basic continental breakfast is the complimentary breakfast that is included.

Another hotel that has gone downhill. We used to stop here when we were in the area. It was always a nice clean motel. When we checked in the person behind the desk said just call on the room phone if you need anything. We got in our room and I checked the phone. I couldn't believe it, there was no jack attached to the phone; worse yet there was no jack or cord anywhere in the room. The room also smelled very musty. After checking the room we found attached to the stand the TV was on, a dehumidifier bag. The bag was almost full. My wife also found cobwebs in the lampshade beside the bed. The shade on the window also had to be manually closed for privacy. We got cinnamon scented brooms (thank God it was halloween season) and put them around the room. That helped and we survived our stay. This will be out last stay at this hotel. Do not go here, for the price they charge there are so many better options in lancaster.

Great service, rooms, food, and atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay here and would love to return soon. I love the old fashioned country theme of this Hotel. There are also many things to do in the area. When I stayed I was going to Sight and Sound to watch DAVID. You can also visit the Amish village and see how they live their life. Great experience and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area. Thanks to all the staff of the Country Inn of Lancaster.

It's a very decent inn with very accommodating staff. Good vibes which is really important. Needed a bit more dusting and spot cleaning, but other than that, no complaints. I had a great nights sleep and a nice, light breakfast. I would return if in the area.

Went on a tour with Our Day Tours. GOOD Things about hotel grate staff and comfortable beds. They only thing was the rooms smelled. Many people on the tour complain about this.

Please do yourself a favor and go to a good quality Hotel not this one

Easy to find. Loved the rocking chairs and porch outside my door. Breakfast is improving! No hot foods, but bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea juice.

I absolutely loved staying here staff was great, other guests were just as friendly. Convenient getting in and out.

We stayed in room 119. The bathroom faucet had a leak to it but nothing that wasnt bearable. The outside porch and rocking chairs were really nice. Like a few of the other reviews i read about the place were spot on. Could use fresh carpeting or flooring. The mattresses arent comfortable at all. Feels like your laying on bag full of straw. For the money im staying somewhere else.

We stayed here for three night and were overall very pleased. This hotel is right on 30 near so many great places. It is 2 minute drive from Dutch Wonderland, or a 15 minute walk. We walked back to the hotel one day from the park and it was quite doable even though it was on Rt. 30 because there are sidewalks. It is minutes from Tanger Outlets and so many other shopping places. Also in the same parking lot is a nice restaurant called Your Place. Across the street is a gas station and nearby is a Sonic and a Friendly's. It is close to Bird in the Hand Amish area. The hotel has free fresh popped popcorn every afternoon. There is also coffee, tea, yogurt and juice available 24/7, a little business area and even some board games. It has a great pool and hot tub as well inside a solarium! Every person at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful including a lovely lady named Traci. They did not clean the rooms in between the days we stayed, but they were happy to give us fresh towels, blankets, whatever we needed. The continental breakfast did not include any hot food, but for a free breakfast, we were satisfied with our choices of muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, granola bars, milk, hard boiled eggs and fruit. My only criticism would be that we had a lot of trouble opening our hotel door with the key card. They worked well to get into the building, but we needed assistance more than once in getting into our room. We had requested adjoining rooms and fridges in the rooms and they were able to do this for us. I have posted several pictures and a video as well. Thank you very much.

Bed bugs. We found one that was crawling so searched for more and unfortunately found more. We discreetly brought proof to the receptionist more than once and she was not nearly as empathetic and apologetic as she should have been from a professional standpoint. I mean as guests, that’s the last thing you want to find ugh. However, main management was much more understanding and compassionate when we touched base with her. She understood that we were inconvenienced physically and mentally. This was our first encounter with anything like this and it was completely gross. She did provide a full refund but we didn’t receive the report from the bug company as we were promised we would.

Who is writing these reviews? The staff was fine, friendly, informative, polite. The rooms, as was mentioned in several other reviews, smelled of mildew and the mattresses on the beds should have been changed years ago.
The connected restaurant had very limited service but enough liquor to help you forget where you were.
