6What a delight! Worn out from work and the pace of life in NJ, I stayed for two days and relaxed. The owners couldn't have been nicer, clean room and lovely continental breakfast in am. The grounds were neat as a pin, with goats and chickens in the back you can feed. I visited Smuckers Gourd Farm, Country Gift and Thrift Shoppe (go upstairs to the quilting room and see the quilts), ate daily at the White Horse Luncheonette, the hub of socializing and good food. There is also a dry goods store in town (didn't get the name, but, you can see it from the front door of the B&B). Went into Honey Brook to Brandywine Shoe Shop and the Steeple thrift shop, then New Holland to the Freedom thrift shop. Love this area with the Amish horse drawn buggies and beautiful farms over every rolling hill. I'll be back again!
Beautiful place to stay and hospitality was great! Breakfasts were delicious as well
My sister and I stayed at two different inns on our trip last week, but this is the one we will return to! Hands down, a gorgeous, clean, comfortable, quiet, affordable, and friendly inn convenient to all the sites to see and experience in Amish country, PA! The innkeepers, Becky, Barbara and Eli are a delight! The baked oatmeal at breakfast was over-the-top delicious! Actually, if you just want a little R&R, you would never even have to leave the property. We so enjoyed evening strolls in back of the inn to see the farm animals and sit around the campfire. The place is photogenic wherever you look!
Eli and Barbara were warm and friendly nice accomodations and other guests were also, recommend it.
Very friendly host and hostess. Gave us a list of things to see and do. Their breakfast was excellent! Our room was wonderful.
