Countryside Roadstand, Ronks PA

Awesome pretzels and ice cream. Parking lot was brand new when we went. New asphalt was laid.

Delicious! Softest pretzels ever! They used the non-gmo hershey syrup for my chocolate shake. Been coming here for years.

We love the pretzels here. I find them better without the salt than with salt. They are freshly made and a million times better than the ones you get at the mall.

Got the regular pretzel and garlic and herb pretzel. Both were amazing! In the gift shop, they accept cards, but at the pretzel stand, they only take cash. Thankfully, there is an ATM on the premises, but it does charge a 2.50 fee to use it. If you're planning on going, I'd suggest taking cash with you so you don't have to pay the ATM fee, but it's nice that they have one there for people like me who didn't have cash:)

This place has the absolute best pretzels in lancaster, and they're cheap. We got 6 pretzels for $14. Actually, I think they're the best pretzels I've ever had and in the words of Stanley from the office "I love pretzel day". The other treats are also yummy and cheap. Try their frosted lemonade or homemade rootbeer. The store has lots of interesting snacks and homemade/local items.

The pretzel stand part of the store is cash only, the store takes card. There is an ATM on site.

This is the place for the best pretzels in the area. Soft warm buttery pretzels that will make you “oooo” with delight. Quite amazing. Suggest trying with the Cinnamon sugar and plain butter. Get there early as can get busy with a couple of the country tour buses. We ordered 30 and they were ready in 15 mins. You can also sit and enjoy the farm animals around the back. Great location off the main drag. Highly recommended!

I was recently in this area and stopped here. Tried the soft pretzel and it was the best soft pretzel I have ever eaten! Soft, buttery flavor, and melts in your mouth! I also had a frosted lemonade and that was also very good! There is a neat little store with a nice assortment of items. If you are near there I highly recommend you stop here and have a soft pretzel!

Literally the best hot pretzels I have ever had! If I am even an hour away visiting I will make a trip out to this stand. They also have this sweet bologna and cheese They also have a playground and a spot to feed some animals. You gotta stop here!

As a native Lancastrian I can safely say these are top tier soft pretzels you’ll find anywhere. They are out of this world good. FYI cash only, but there is an ATM on site.

Do you want the best pretzel you have ever had in your entire life? This is the place! The whole operation is great: you can have an ice cream float with homemade root beer, follow it up with some pretzels, buy some nice Amish swag, and then go out and feed the cute animals. I would move in if they would let me.: D

Stopped here specifically for a pretzel after reading reviews and it did not disappoint! Best hot pretzel I’ve had. And the apple cider was amazing!

Pretzels are great & prices in the store are very reasonable always stop by when in the area.

I love the fresh bake pretzels, the shop and the animal! Trip is worth it to enjoy the country side view and the pure air!

The Countyside Road Stand is one of my favorite PA destinations usually coupled with a play at Sight and Sound Theater which isn’t far away from there. Very cute and very quaint with many products from pretzels to soap to handmade childrens books and quilts and quillows. Purchased a take home box mix of the pretzel recipe and my friends and I were not disappointed. So good and just like at the stand!
