Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia South at The Navy Yard

Last time I stayed here it was extremely clean and staff was top notch. Just recently I booked a room through a third party site, but had to cancel. Was getting the runaround from the booking site regarding the refund. Talked to management at Marriott and in 2 minutes the refund was issued. This the only location I recommend staying at when visiting Philadelphia.

There's nothing special about this place, just a basic room like anywhere else. They make you pay to park in their parking lot even as a guest. $17 for breakfast that isn't worth $5. Outside alcohol isn't allowed in the dinning area, which is pretty much the main lobby, or on the patio.

For the location of this hotel its awesome a 10 to 15 min walk to the sports stadiums and you can see them from the hotel windows! Also the navy ships in the yard are amazing! This is a place if your going to make a day or 2 trip to a game.otherwise if you want more to do their is a casino live hotel or they're more hotels farther out with more things to do in the city.

Check to make sure you aren’t driving in when any kind of nearby game is ending! We accidentally tried coming in when a football game was near end. Every exit to get to the hotel was blocked off. Every street. Every Entrance. Every thing would detour you onto the interstate going the opposite way. Nightmare was an understatement. We drove across the PA/NJ bridge that goes over the river 4 times. You’d try an alternate route, and it would have the same results. We travel for work for almost the entirety of the year, and this is one of the most confusing and hard driving situations I have found myself in. So, please check the games nearby before making a plan for driving in. If you are here for a game though, I imagine it’s fantastic location.

Parking is cumbersome and an extra fee. Anticipate extra costs if you are on government orders. Poor sinage to find the building after gate closes at night.

We had an excellent stay at Marriott Courtyard South PHL at Navy Yard! So close to the Linc.we walked to the Eagles game. And best part about our stay was breakfast at their Bistro. We stay at a lot of Marriott properties and Courtyards.this breakfast was THE best of any Courtyard! Francis and her team do an outstanding job! Highly recommend this hotel and don't miss breakfast!

We got the room because it was within walking distance of Lincoln Field. Go Eagles! It wasn't a bad place at all. It is in the Navy Yard so it's a bit of a pain to get to but once your there your good. Park the car (cars safe BTW) and walk to Lincoln. He'll of a view. That Pic from Hotel. WOO WOO EAGLES!

Clean room, good service, good food, easy parking (free on the street), and close to the stadiums and Live casino. Will stay here again!

Could have been cleaner, wall paper pealing off the bathroom wall. This place is so close to all the sports complexities yet no shuttle bus. We had to walk in the almost abandoned navy yard to get to Xfinety Live. Not sure if we will ever return.

We paid over 200 dollars for one night, yet we still had to pay 20 dollars to park in their parking lot. We had a cocktail in the bar area, where the manager explained to us that we had to put our mask on in between sips and bites of food, which is absolutely ridiculous. I have no issues with covid rules and regulations, however their employees need to get on the same page. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Staff are friendly and polite (mostly.), the rooms very clean and large enough for a couple of people. Location is great if you're working in the Navy Yard or going to an Eagles game. Only negative was the bar closed at 10PM, much too early. We had a bunch of people come in at 9: 45, and we had to cajole the bartender to stay open for a few extra minutes past 10 to get everyone a drink. He wasn't terribly friendly or pleased with this. Overall, though, a nice hotel.

I've been to many Marriott's around the country and World. This Marriott rates as on of the best. It is clean, and at a great location. The staff is so nice, friendly and helpful in every way possible. The restaurant in the lobby is outstanding with a great varied menu for all meals. Prices are very good for what you get. I've had so many different choices. I think I've had them all. I have yet to be disappointed! I would highly recomend this Marriott!

Best kept secret for going to Philadelphia sports games/concerts if you are out of town. Relatively easy walk to the stadium complex and free parking. Only bummer is no free breakfast! Been there multiple times and every time it was clean

The best hotel in Philadelphia! Awesome staff, clean hotel and sheets, beds are very comfortable and the hotel smells amazing! I don't know what scent it is when you walk in the lobby but it's seriously the most amazing smell ever. We stayed here in July when our Airbnb fell through. We were on a family vacation with our children and the place we were supposed to stay at was disgusting and we couldn't stay there. It was 1am and we were stranded in a city with our 4 kids, and far away from home. We drove around the city until 4am looking for any hotel to take us in, but no hotel was taking walk-ins. It was my 31st birthday, our kids were exhausted, and I thought for sure our trip was ruined. This place took us in a little after 4am and got us set up with breakfast in the morning. We ended up just staying here for the rest of the trip because we loved it so much. We didn't have to pay for parking since we were able to park on the street in front of the building. Our kids thought the Navy Yard was cool and we drove around every day checking out the older buildings and ships. We will definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Philadelphia!

An easy location to get to within the Naval Yard. Hotel property is very clean, though there isn't much to do in the area surrounding the hotel. There is a small park across the street. Parking is ample and free!

They had the main entrance blocked off with cones for no apparent reason which made access for uber/lyft frustrating and I had to answer to it. I think the manager of the hotel was upset and swearing at a security guard. Ahh, Philly, city of brotherly hate

What you would expect from the courtyard brand. Clean rooms, Bistro and Bar. My only draw back is there was no room upgrades or suite night reward offered to me with titanium status. In fact they don't even acknowledge your status like how delta or IHG would.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your place. They compare countless booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure will love it I'm sure!

Finding this place is not simple but isn't hard either. It's in the Navy yard, some weird construction going on but it's simple enough.
Employees, first class.
You have to pay for parking which I found odd because we aren't in a city, it's not a garage and there's parking all over. It was Saturday night and nobody was here. With that said, be prepared to pay for parking.
Clean. This place smells clean, looks clean and was top notch.
Employees. Amazing.
Experience was a 5 of 5. Beautiful place and very affordable. With that being said it was not 200 dollars total
That may be a lot to some people but I thought it was average for this level of excellence.
