Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Fogelsville PA

My Grama is obsessed with their chicken and dumplings and I found some delicious gluten free options!

Fantastic location. Very clean. Very friendly and kind wait staff. Food was excellent. Not every cracker barrel is as good as this one but this is as good as it gets!

We dined in. Had about a 10 minute wait. Our food came out quickly and was good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Meal prices are a great value.

So I had the country fried steak cause the looks just made me crave the fried steak school used to hand out lol. But it was good just the gravy had this jello consistency n didnt have a lot of flavor. As the sides, as you can see I got Mac n cheese n fried apples (basically baked). But oooh man I loved the texture of the cheese on the mac. It was very delicious that's like one of the main things I look forward to when I go to a country or BBQ place.lol. But the fried apples were so good too they're soft n easy to eat n weren't so sweet like how I like them make good side choices just the only negative about this was the gravy

Typical fare from a chain. The food was prepared as requested, was delivered timely and our waitress was attentive.

BTW dinner was beautifully prepared + delicious. Also dinner stayed in secure plasticware and did not leak. Everything intact + made it home through rush hour traffic.

Immediate seating for a weekday close to lunch time. Our server was polite and efficient. Ordered breakfast dishes and it was a bit of a wait. When the food arrived it was Luke warm at best. Giving the benefit of the doubt as they may have been short staffed but it will be awhile before we visit this store again.

Terrible waitress but good food. She brought me then wrong order them tried to tell that it wasn't what was on them menu. When I asked her to being me a menu to prove my point she said she would just fix it and never brought them menu. Told them cashier and ask if there was something wrong with her? Again ignored. Love the food, hated the service, or should I say lack of service.

This place has the worst picked up service…. I went to picked up the food was incomplete and in top of that the lady was rude as shit….

9-29-21 Ms. Amber is top notch. Great customer service. Very friendly. Laughter and smiles to all her guests. Very welcoming. A great asset to this restaurant. She suggested the broccoli cheese chicken (Wenesday special) to me and it was delicious! I will be back when I'm in town. Thank you, Amber!

It has a calm and quiet atmosphere. The food is something you would get at grandma's house. Tasty and not too pricey. The gift shop is a nice add on

Love, love the gift shop! Staff is always courteous & helpful. I have not eaten there since COVID, but it was always good in the past.

Relatively short wait time, food came out piping hot and tasted great. Tons of food for a cheap price. Highly recommended.

I always love this restaurant no matter where I visit. Always great service and I love the southern comfort food. They do it as well as I experienced back home in the south

Family of six so prices have to be good. We all enjoyed the food and each others company. It was a great lunch. Didn't wait long to be seated and the staff was enjoyable.
