Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
16They've eliminated several items from their menu, the items left leave a lot to be desired, we always loved the lightly breaded haddock but you can't get that anymore, no lima beans, no kale salad, too much chicken and not enough fish choices, won't eat there much anymore,
Seated right away, Serv staff attentive, good coffee, all plates brought at same time and hot. Somewhat busy as it was changeover to lunch. Overall good
Good meal and always like to check out the store. Shows you how old you are. LOL. Also picked up Thanksgiving dinner for the next day.
I had the Fried Chicken Steak dinner with fried okra, mash potatoes w/gravy, pinto beans, corn muffins and sweet tea) Nothing but a heavenly bliss for the taste buds. Everyone and I mean everyone should give them a try. All the tea and corn muffins you want to eat. NO ONE CAN BEAT THE PRICE FOR THIS MEAL! Definitely 5)
The service was questionable
The utensils were dirty
The glasses were filmy
My husband had breakfast at night time and the French toast was overcooked and dry. His sausage was very hot flavored
And by the time we ate, payed and got to the car he was feeling like he was going to throw up.never did but he was miserable.
Ice cold meatloaf was serve to me and it was on special that day it took twice to send it back to get it heated up to where it was hot enough to eat. Very mushy and fell apart did not care for it at all would not go back. Horrible service she never came back to check I had to track the waitress down through the hostess to send my food back never came back to see if we wanted something else to drink took forever to get the drinks. Nice gift shop that's about it.
Even as busy as they were, very fast service excellent home cooked style food, very nice waitresses. They even have a small store you can shop through.loved the fireplace too, real wood fire, very lovely place. And the stake burger covered in cooked onion was fabulous. The Mac and cheese was as promised, Great food and Great job.
Great food! Have ordered dinner to go a couple times recently and it is not only delicious and well packaged, the prices are very reasonable. Online ordering is a breeze. Highly recommend.
Food tasted good. We went early to avoid a crowded space and it was not busy at all. However, this was the second time we have been there in the last few weeks and the food was cold. There was no reason for it to be cold because there were so few customers. Disappointed.
First time we ate at Cracker Barrel we were not impressed. We figured we might as well try again. This time we really enjoyed our dinner. Very reasonable pricing and decent size portions.
Had a wonderful time with the family for Thanksgiving. The customer service was outstanding and the food was very good as well. Couldn't of picked a better place to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Thanks to all for the great experience.
Things are going down hill use to be a good restaurant. Got ride of best fish dinner they had haddock and orders get messed up our food was taken to another table used to be a good place to eat.mcdonald's it is next time in meadville.
The food quality has been going down for a few years. It was one of my favorite places to go. Today, the biscuits were not done and still doughy and my fried catfish wasn't done. They gave me a fresh plate, so ok, but.
People were nice, the shop was fun to look in but the food was kind of salty and made us all very thirsty later.
The cracker barrel I remember was much better. The food was barely warm and the biscuits were hard, overbaked. The waitress was very good and nice.
I have gone to the one on (peach st. Erie pa.) 2 weeks in a row at 11: 30am, was told 45 minute wait. They say they have no help.
I know it's not their fault but, I'll be eating at another restaurant from now on. Their losing alot of business.
I'll miss you!
