Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, New Stanton PA

Service was poor. The old Sunday chicken that is now new and used for country fried chicken is gritty tasting total different batter. Went in at 8pm restaurant was dirty but retail store was very clean. Had a different server deliver the food than ours and asked for silverware and very rudely said "it's right there you know in front of you" as she walked away. This cracker barrel is one I will not visit again but I'm sure they are fine with that seems to be how they train their employees as they all seemed miserable.

It was an ok meal. Soup tasted canned. Fries could have been cooked longer.

Be nice if the staff cared about covid restrictions.

Cold food lacking flavor on a limited menu. Chef Microwave no doubt. Hopefully Gordon Ramsay sits down to the same disappointing to meal that my wife and I had. A far cry from a home style meal. I would be ashamed to read this review.

My wife and I both got fried chicken. I got a side of dumplings they were very good. The chicken was 3 stars. I'm used to better. Bud Murphy's is better. The waitress Beth was very good at her job. They are lucky to have her. The steak fries were good

They have adapted to shortages. They still do very well and are always a busy fan favorite. We never have complaints about this spot.

The staff was very friendly. They were very busy at the time so there was a bit of a wait for a seat, but our food came out fast, hot, and delicious.

One of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to. The fried shrimp was breaded 5x more than most Frieda shrimp. Couldn’t even taste the shrimp, just the breading. Another order at the table was a burger which was also horrible. Both of us could not bare more than two bites. Never going back.

I have always loved this place in the past.went today, it's not the same eggs were cold not warm cold, the pancakes were warm to cold. Very Disappointed

Food is always great even though it's busy they serve you with a smile and they're very efficient and very pleasant atmosphere

I do not like cracker barrel restaurants especially this one tried it twice and both times all the food was yuk. Everything tastes like and old dirty grill last time we got our money back. This may be liked by others but not us.

Food was very good and very good service give Alexis a raise! She was very polite and came back often to check on us. Gift shop if nice too while you wait.

This is a hit n miss place to eat for me. Meal is usually good but never hot. Usually barely lukewarm. Hasbrown casserole is always cold. I have mentioned this numerous times that u have to serve hot meals but seems to go to closed ears. Its a shame because they do have good food. Thats the only reason I am giving a 3 * because food for most part is never hot. It gets old.

Eat in dining usually good. Curbside service- well …. They usually ignore you until you come in to get it 20 minutes later than promised. Don’t ask for the manager, he appears to be burned out and can only manage to say one word, “Okay”, regardless of what you say. Ordered a MEDIUM steak, it was extra, extra, extra well done (not well made!), dark brown center, and could not cut with steel steak knife when I brought it home!

Cracker Barret was very good. Due to under staffing took a while. Won't say anymore. Good Brezkfast and service was good.

One of the few remaining restaurants with dine in seating. Waitress was awesome even though she'd already put in a long day. Rates 5 stars but it gets so noisy from all the other patrons it's tough to carry a conversation. Good food decent prices and fair portions.

The best food this country boy has had in along time. Great food, good portion size, friendly wait staff, great atmosphere - if you like home style cooking you can't go wrong here.

I'm super bummed since they've made so many changes to their sandwich menu practically all you can get In a sandwich is a burger or chicken sandwich, so I had to settle for a $9+ BLT which I hate tomatoes had to ask to be omitted. I can go anywhere for a burger. Bring back the classic Turkey or Corned beef, or open fave hot sandwiches this was my only sandwich place that had non yeast bread, pretty disappointing! Not going to mention the long wait because I know all places are we struggling with staffing affecting throughput considering it was Sunday lunch rush they did ok I hope they fix the menu I didn't see if they took off my favorite every day lunch special the grilled chicken on salad & baked potato. If it's gone too then the only thing left for me I'd french toast and bread.

I love eating here. My only complaint is why are your bathrooms always so disgusting. It's like they never clean them!

I have never had a bad experience at cracker barrel. Great food, great waitress, and they get you seated faster than any other restaurants. Great experience again!
