Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reviews
22My husband ordered the fried chicken and I ordered the fried chicken tenders. There was so much food, we each took a huge piece of our chicken home! It was delicious and the service was fantastic. Servers are always friendly and attentive.
It was the worst experience? , the waitress poured coffee in a cup ridden with hard matter on the inside, it was unrecognizable. There were 3 different types of foreign matter in the cup. Now I have to live with the fact I ingested some of what ever it was. Have then pour coffee in front of you. Will not be going back, and will be helping them as well.
Went to Cracker Barrel today to get Chicken Dumplings for my husband and my anniversary lunch. I arrived at 11: 20am & by 11: 29 I had ordered, received my receipt, and had paid for my order. After almost 30 minutes I noticed that 2 gentlemen, who had ordered 15 minutes after me, were picking up their orders. When I inquired about my order, I was asked "did the clerk call your order back to the kitchen? " Really, I'm expected to notice this? Anyway it took another 5 minutes for my order to arrive. What poor, poor service! Really disappointed in Cracker Barrel Chambersburg!
Always a good place to eat, good food decent prices and you never know what you'll find in the store
A beautifully displayed store, is the 1st thing you see as you come into this very inviting place. An excellent sales crew greets you, with a smile. What I especially loved about my visit was the paraphernalia-little, inspirational cards, lovely mugs, and magnetic posts, some even containing Scriptural reminders to get you through the day. All this is before you get to the restaurant section of the facility, where I had the most original tasting pancakes I've known to date. Unfortunately, I do believe some of their recipes could use some very minor improvements, but all and all it is a great, and worthwhile experience.
Service was slow and something was going on with the fireplace so the dining room was filling with smoke. Food was good with the exception of over medium eggs that came out over easy.
Food was good & our server did a great job. I think he was a little nervous cause there were 7 of us. He got everyone's drink orders correct as well as all our food orders. His name was Aiden & he was really a good server.
Food was okay. Waitress was not the best, but that's my experience on Sundays almost every time I go to Cracker Barrel.
Craker Barrel is never disappointing. If you have never gone to one- check it out. Foods great, always plenty of parking and each Craker Barrel has its own little store in front of the restaurant.
Service was horrible. My husband and I were each limited to one glass of water and waited forever for the check almost had to call into the restaurant to find a manager while sitting in the dining room food was okay.
Love the food and the workers. Very sweet people and such a hoot They make sure your taken care of and make you feel welcome. A true family restaurant.
Not very good breakfast this morning. Pancakes and meats were over cooked until dry. Grits were like runny soup and everything was served at room temperature or colder. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the server was so nice. We stop at Cracker Barrel a lot but was very disappointed today.
Loved it! Always great service and love the atmosphere. Owning a set of the rocking chairs is on my bucket list.
Love to eat here, love to shop here, really wish they had a no cell phone policy in the dining area because this did interrupt our wonderful dining experience from the next table
As I always say about Cracker Barrel brand. Amazing everywhere. It's my go to food stop when traveling the states. Not to mention the great and cool variety of gifts and high quality accessories you can find in their gift shop. Always a pleasure to stop by when traveling.
Super fast service, and kid friendly. Our food was delicious and the kids meals were out in less than 5 minutes!
We to dinner with 12 girls from work. We had to ask how is our server was so that we could get something to drink. Food took a long time.
Little slow service, clean restaurant, little over priced for one piece of french toast, good portion of food
We recently visited a cracker barrel in Virginia. To our surprise, the grilled Reuben platter was no longer served. What a poopstain. Probably the best grilled sandwich ever. Bring it back please. I settled for biscuits and gravy, which was good. All your food is good. Just not much reason to visit again.
I've only just recently gone to cracker barrel for the first time and I loved it. The food was great, the food comes out pretty quick, its clean and just overall was a great experience. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because I wish they had more items on the menu.
