Obviously, the intention and theory behind this place is great but it doesn’t turn out as well. There is minimal accountability for the residents and NO accountability for the staff! I worked there for almost a year and despite my reminders they never did a background check (even after an unfounded accusation). They certainly help women for the time they are there, providing housing, but I have seen other programs that really prepare women for a more productive future. It’s a shame because with the amount of money going through that place, they could be doing so much more. Donors beware.

Great place to get help with resources for baby and mom. Pre and post pregnancy resources. A place for expecting mother’s to find shelter. Strict house rules to stay in shelter but worth the wait to get yourself together for financial stability and housing. Be your own mom and work/school knowing your child is in a good environment at home or in the safe day at facilities in the bright neighborhood.
