Cranberry Run Campground, East Stroudsburg PA

My friends and I had a wonderful time for our long weekend stay. Ellen was incredibly flexible especially since my originally predicted large group of 12 had dwindled down to 6 and some had different check-in and check-out days. I have already told my friend group that we will be returning next year to explore more of the Water Gap trails.
Our campsites were in the previously hike-in sections and were great sizes. The mountain is made up of what looked like shale so bring a mattress pad and hammer for your tent stakes. We had very little mosquitoes when we were visiting, which was a pleasant surprise. If you have a car that is very low to the ground I would let Ellen know. The road up the small hill to the newer sites had some pot holes, but with the runoff from the rain it would be futile for them to be constantly grading the roads.
Staff were extremely friendly and the campground was well kept.

The showers do need a make over, but bathrooms are expensive to update so we couldn't really complain. I, myself, am just always glad to have running water and working toilets and showers available.
My suggestion would be to add a wall box to each shower so that guests can store their belongings up off the floor. The floors in the showers can puddle quickly so a shower squeegee with a long pole placed in each one may be a cheap and easily purchased help. This way guests can move the water to the drain. Also, I wonder if different shower heads could be installed that spray the water directly downwards onto the floor instead of out into the back of the shower like they do now. That may help to keep the water more towards the drain side.

Overall, we had a great time and experience.

Could upgrade there bath house not big on the shower how can't have privacy to change and whole floor is wet hard to get dressed standing in puddle of water.

Other than that staff was nice and friendly. Place is in nice location.

Friendly campground with a lot of different type of camping sites. There are a bunch of large RV seasonal sites but at the top of the hill there are some quiet primitive tent sites. Owners have created a place where you can join some fun with other people- like an epic corn hole tournament or you can find one of their quiet trails to the top of the hill. They also have nice sites for large groups.
Clean and well run.

The entire experience with cranberry run campground was a great one! I came with a large group of about 20 people and Ellen was very accommodating and friendly. The group site had plenty of room for all of us to set up, albeit on a large hill. I did wish the fire pit was a bit larger, but we managed just fine. There was a silent disco at the game room on Saturday night which was a lot of fun. We would definitely come back again!

One of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed in because of the roads and one rude man at the front office. There is a steep, rutted, washed out road with loose gravel to enter the grounds. The roads throughout the camp are the same. And what makes it worse is that there is heavy machinery there that no one was using to improve the roads! It looks unkempt and a bit trashy and the man who "greeted" us at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. There were other front desk people who were much nicer, but because of the grounds, we will never go there again. The pictures do not accurately reflect the park. We were going to leave and go to another park, but they would not refund our money.only a credit and since we will never go back, a credit wasn't going to work for us, so we stayed for the week. Can't believe it got 4 stars! Try Silver Valley in Brodheadsville or the KOA on Hollow Road.

I had a great time at this campground, however, the spaces were very small and slightly uncomfortable due to all the gravel. I expected to be camping on grass and somewhat of a bigger space. I did appreciate that there were bathrooms and electric outlets on sites. The check in process was great and the staff were very nice!

Helen is always very nice and helped us to get the best spot, she is always innovating. Best place and service!

Great location! They have a few cabins to rent, though I have never used one. My family uses a camper here. Great outdoor atmosphere where campers and staff are friendly. Lots for kids to do in the arcade, pool, bouncy house, or playground. Also fishing, hiking, or bring bikes or atvs!

They leave bad reviews for other businesses that they have never used. I am returning the favor.
