Crawford County Humane Society reviews
8The animals here are adorable! The dogs and cats are well taken care of and given a lot of love! The staff is very welcoming and friendly! The cats are absolutely beautiful!
Wow such a great experience even tho it was only over the phone. The lady I spoke with just oozed with care and concern about our lost puppies. I will forever be happy with the way she treated me. Wish I could remember her name.
Staff was so mean and not understanding at all. I was told I could adopt a dog then told the next day I couldn’t. Do not try to adopt a dog from them if you are young they are complete bulldozers, I felt like the dog was mine and it was taken from me but there was nothing I could do.
The people tending to the pets at the Humane Society treated the missing and stray animals in their care with dignity and respect. Went there with my friend to pick up two of his dogs that had escaped and run off. They were tagged and examined before they left. For an overnight stay for 2 animals, it was a pretty good experience.
Called the night before traveling 4 hours to come and adopt a pet. Was not informed of all the details before I showed up. I was reasonably upset when I found out that I would be unable to adopt the puppy after meeting up with her. Mirada, was very objectional to anything I was trying to explain called me rude for being upset that I was not informed of everything to expect despite my asking questions in regards to the adoption process. If you want to adopt a pet know 1. Everyone in the house needs to be available for the meet and greet. 2. You will not be able to adopt the same day. 3. It doesn't matter if you bring your vet records to show that your animal is up to date on their shots.
We just adopted our dog Moe he is a great addition to the family! The staff at the shelter were the best very caring to their animals!
Very kind people. Love the animals. The adoption process is smooth - and the matching of Human/“Pet” characteristics is spot on. I would recommend every single person to rescue an animal from here.
