Crawford's Camping Park reviews
7So very friendly and accommodating. Very well kept property with a catch & release pond and salt water pool. It's beautiful here! They have seasonal, summer and winter spots.
My wife and I had a permanent campsite here for about 5 years, and we loved it there. Great owners, we love the Crawford's, the staff and the folks we camped with and shared some good times with. I highly recommend Crawford's Campground.
Quite little camp ground with plenty for the kids to do. Debbie is a rock star with a genuine care and love for the grounds and the people who reside here and visit
Absolutely best camp ground clean bathrooms, awesome playground, had an amazing time, definitely be back.walking trails and a fishing too! Like a hidden gem!
Real nice family friendly place. Lots for kids to do.
Well kept and maintained
Will definitely come back
The owner (?) seemed very unwelcoming and even my wife said she reminded her of Roz from Monsters inc. If you haven't watched the movie you would never get it. Her daughter (?) met up with us while we were trying to check out and she seemed much more friendly. Our site was nice and level, with a fire ring, picnic table, and full hookups. I was a little confused/befuddled by the sign on the electric box about no rugs or mats on the grass? Not sure what that was about. We were there on a rainy off-season weekend (April 21-23 so not much was going on. It's a short walk/drive to the North Country Trail, Indian Rock, and Watt's Mill. We're casual hikers/adventurers and finding neat places with less people is right up our alley! If you're looking for people and excitement, you're looking in the wrong place here. That being said we are unlikely to return to this campground, but there's only a couple state parks that we ever return to.
We stayed here 3 nights. The price was very reasonable $35/night + $0.14/kwh for electric ($2/night is what it worked out for our class A) $175/ week, $500/ month for when we were there. They have a beautiful grass covered park with a pool and a nice playground with a slide, swings, spinners to ride, things to climb on, picnic tables, benches in the grass to sit on, a covered dirt pit and coal/ sand pit to play in with toy trucks to play with. Firewood and Ice are available for a very reasonable price. There is a fishing pond. We were told they do tournaments for kids fishing and many other activities for the kids. We were also told that they have snow cone Fridays. We were there during off season so we didn't witness any of this. The customer service is questionable but once your settled its great. Cash or check only so be prepared.
