AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I would give less stars if possible! Previously lived at this building under the old management. When new management bought the building, rent was raised, as well as the price for doing laundry. This happened to be during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. When our lease was ending, we followed the instructions provided by management to return our keys. After several weeks of not hearing anything in return as far as receiving our safety deposit back I reached out to contact them. They claimed they did not return the deposit back because we did not inform them as to the exact date that we would be moving out, therefore it took away a week for them to market this apartment for rent. After checking with Pennsylvania state laws, the landlord is required to provide written notice as to why they are withholding your safety deposit within 30 days of you vacating the premises. No follow up effort for them was made after I initially contacted them, nor did we receive any sort of letter in the mail as wire deposit was held.

I wish I could give a negative amount of stars.
In the midst of a global pandemic, the new management company has decided to raise everyone's rent, and raise the amount necessary to wash and dry laundry in the building.
The new company is deceitful as they send a notice to raise rent to 1 amount and then after asking for nearly 2 weeks for the lease they must legally provide, the add another mysterious amount to your monthly obligations.
Most tenants in the building are respectful, however when you have the bad apple amongst them, the office does nothing.
The new "Super" for the building speaks at best very limited English so good luck if you need something done or if you simply want to communicate literally anything to him.

The new management really takes care of the tenants and cares to keep the community living standards far above the average for our area! Five stars all day!

Just copying my old review from apartment ratings so it shows up on google. Do not waste your time here or your quality of life will go down.

This review will be raw and honest with no exaggeration. Honestly, this place is a joke. The only good thing it has going for it is the location which is what I believe keeps most of its tenants livings here. Management is easy to reach but no issues ever get resolved. The company itself is more focused on filling empty apartments rather than focusing on the main problem which is people leaving due to poor living conditions. One tenant literally takes their dog outside, bags its poop and then lets it sit on the steps or on the sidewalk. Management has done nothing to resolve that issue and it's disgusting. Noise level is absurd. You can hear everything through the walls, floors and ceiling. The on-site community washers/dryers are terrible. Each load costs $1.75 to wash and $1.75 to dry. Why? When we already overpay for rent? The dryers don't even work. Most of the time you pull out wet clothes and have to pay another $1.75 to do it again! Lastly, the hot water works just as often as it doesn't. The hot water heater has been on its last leg for over a year and they are too cheap to just replace it. When it finally broke, the apartments went 3-4 days with no hot water (which is illegal) but they didn’t seem to care. When tenants asked for their rent to be reduced by 4 days for the month, the request was denied, which may not be illegal but it is terrible business. Rent has come down since signing our lease but even that will not make us stay.

We've lost hot water and heat in the winter time practicality every other day. Management changed half way through the lease and the new management is difficult to get into contact with. Neighbors get noisy sometimes, but that's expected.

Pros: Nice setting, grounds are well kept, community leaders are very open to feedback and will assist you if you contact them about any issues. Service line available to call and submit tickets for Maintainence issues. Apt is close to grocery and gas stations as well as major roads RT 29,663. Small town feel area is usually pretty quiet.
Cons: Walls are very thin you can hear your neighbors tv! Loud pipes in the walls. Parking is an issue there is not enough spots and they are not assigned. Neighbors (2) from another building keep walking their dogs up to my apartment window to use the bathroom it’s very rude disgusting and disrespectful. Apartment is very small for the price they charge. Laundry is awful! There is no change machine so bring your own quarters also the washer apparently doesn’t have a spin cycle your clothes come out soaking wet! I mean drenched! You have to wring them out or pay extra to run the dryer for a long time. Also residents will remove and touch your clothes if you aren’t on top of your laundry!
