Cross Creek Resort reviews
17This “resort” is in need of something beyond repair. We were told our room was non-smoking but a sign on the door stated it was a smoking room and ashtrays were visible. The bed is nothing more than a thin mattress with no fitted sheet on it (just a flat sheet thrown over the mattress) and a flat sheet with a thin cheap blanket on top. The bathroom is horribly outdated and tiny. There is no elevator to the upper floors. This is a place I will never recommend nor stay at again. Just plain dirty.
The rooms, although appeared clean, was very Dated! Ceiling tiles on the floor, and the mattresses were worn out!
There was a drain at the bottom of the stairs leading to the parking lot! Wasn't marked and could be a very bad fall for patrons.
“Resort” is a dump. Musty, moldy, out dated rooms. Old mattresses, old bathrooms with toilet so low to the ground you can barely get up. The entire facility needs a cleaning up and updating.
The rooms smelled. Rugs were dirty. 2 inches of dust on lamp shade. Beds were awful. Found a hair tie and a crunched water bottle under one bed and a golf ball under another
Didn't stay there or have any interaction with service staff went to go visit my father in-law
We held a huge business conference here and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and speedy
Rooms were terrible, and we stayed in the recently remodeled ones. Granted your not in their much, but still please make it some what comfortable for your guets.
There’s a reason why they don’t have any pictures of the inside of guest rooms on their website. They are well past their prime. All the ice and soda machines were empty around the property.
They send you to the bar to pay premium prices for water and soda. For as loud and rowdy as it was into the night around the guest room area I never seen any type of security at all.
The waitress gave us wonderful service on our 43rd wedding anniversary, and a reason to visit again. "Hats off" to the chef as well, as his years of experience in the culinary arts showed in our meals.
Great place to golf for the weekend. The price for golf with cart, breakfast and dinner buffet and accommodations you can't complain at all. The course is in great shape and very challenging 27 holes. I highly recommend
My husband and I went here for Easter dinner and it was horrible. That was the biggest waste of money. Never again.
Had to ask three different people to find the pro shop to be able to golf. Extremely rude and pushy cart attendant. Pulled up after my first nine to get a few beers to finish off the back 9 and he told us that he didn't know if we could or where and then asked if we were done yet or not. Over all irritating experience and will not return.
Not informed that the greens were recently aerated. We would not have played that day. Very disappointing.
Dinner was wonderful. Service was great. Nice place to stop on a bus trip. Handled the busload with ease and class.
We came on a Saturday for the prime rib that was on your online menu only to find out that it was discontinued weeks before. The least you could do is update the online menu. The buffet was average. The lettuce was all yellow- heads up lettuce is green. The chicken was good and so was the meatloaf. The carving station had corn beef. WTH is that? Who has corn beef at the carving station? The staff was very nice and friendly but the place needs some serious updates. Wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was worn and dirty. Always heard how nice this place was but don’t think we will be back. Dirty worn down place with average food.
The dinner buffet was really good, loved the baked fish & mashed potatoes especially! Staff was very nice. The rooms were clean but need updating as the bed sunk in middle & creaky. The carpeting in lobby, bar area, etc.are very worn & soiled looking! First impressions!
