Don't know how to begin! Its rarely that I write a bad review. But the place was a big disappointment. We ate here a few weeks ago. For starters the service was BAD. We were a party of three, there were two staff members. Nither of them payed any attention at all.they were not busy.just blatantly avoiding. It was like trying to catch a pokemon, trying to grab their attention. The food.average at best. Menu was very confusing they had what would typically be an entree under condiments? Dal Makhani is not a condiment. I asked if it came with rice and the reply that I got was I will get a rice for the table you can all share. I felt dismissed. Conversing with that person was uncomfortable. The rice portion that they gave for two entrees was what I would call a medium bowl.they called it large. Rice is cheap. The least you can do is provide a decent amont of rice for two people. It felt like they deliberately did that so the people would order breads or extra rice. The "condiment" dal that they served was what I would make if I had no time at hand. And lets not call it dal makhani for sure. Oh and the only reason I chose that over other things in the menu was because in their already limited menu they didn't have two other things I asked for.the other two entrees from what the others ate they liked it. But they didn't like the service either. Its hard to say if we'd ever go back: (

We've lived in the area for decades, and have visited this restaurant on numerous occasions. I had booked a table to eat-in with friends last night, so were a party of 7. I booked over the phone without issue, table was ready when we arrived. The waiter saw our bag of wine/beer, and proceeded to tell us that we were not allowed to drink it as they had recently obtained a license to sell alcohol. When I pointed out that their printed menus and their website indicated they are a BYOB, we were told they were working on changes to the website to reflect this. We were not happy. When I read previous reviews, someone mentioned this same issue when they visited over three months ago. How can they possibly still be working on a minor change to their website for three months? This is utter deception on their part and we were not the only party to feel this way. Fortunately, the food we ordered was better than meals we've had there in the past, but that just did not make up for the BYOB issue, and having to wait half an hour to be asked for drinks. We decided there and then to spend our money in future at our preferred Indian restaurant (Best Taste), and we won't be back to Cross Culture.

This place has the best Indian food around. Prices are very reasonable, service is great, and the taste is amazing! Would recommend for date night or a night out with friends and family.

Food was good people working there so nice. I really enjoyed the time and food there. Just one thing what they could do is just add some cocktails to choose not only wine and beer

Absolutely loved it here- so happy you can grab a beer with dinner. The Palak paneer was so delicious paired with the garlic naan. Everything came out beautifully and was portioned well. It was such a treat to eat our food outside on that sunny day.

Great food but service not so great advertise BYOB and then they would not let us open our beer when we got there because they were selling beer.
We asked for one dish to be mild and it seems like it was made extra hot

If I could rate them high I would. This place has the best Indian food I have ever had. The portions are great for what you pay. The garlic naan is fantastic. The tikka masala is unreal. The plum sauce they serve with the Samosa's is the best. I have never been disappointed when coming here. The staff is the fantastic. They also just started selling alcohol which puts icing on the cake.

An average restaurant in Doylestown. Food was good but slightly pricier. Service was kind of non-existent. It is not worth a second visit for us.

The food is good, but the service not so much. The waiter was very cold and inattentive. He seemed to pay more attention to the regulars than to the others. We had a table of 5, we asked for napkins and he gave us 1. We also had to remind him that each of our plates came with rice. Not once did he come to check on our table to see how we were doing. We would probably never go back.

Terrible customer service. I just called for a take out order and was declined, was told to go in person to the restaurant to order it. Arrogant and rudest. Very disappointed after being a loyal customer for several years. Will certainly not come back.

This cozy place served an excellent meal. The three main hosts/managers were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the shrimp tandoori as an appetizer, the chef special biryani, lamb vindaloo, and garlic naan. If you’re someone who can handle Indian spicy meals, let them know. The host mentioned they default to non-spicy, which is a smart decision. All the dishes were delicious and just the right spice level for us, which was a solid “medium” but I have to give a push for the special biryani. There were so many different flavors packed into that dish that it was a real feast for the palate. I just want to also mention the naan texture was perfect, and probably the best I have ever had, even above New York and Edison, NJ restaurants.
Considering much of Doylestown is one Italian restaurant after another, be sure to try this place when you want something truly scrumptious. BYOB.
