Crown Resorts at The Poconos, Drums PA

Exterior had exposed and rotting framing for the roof. Flashing was hanging off all over the place, roof shingles displaced, the decks were breaking everywhere, 2 of the 3 sliding doors were broken upon arrival. I can only imagine the condition of the plywood on the roof. A few dollars and a trip to Home Depot could really work wonders on this property. Whoever owns them is leaving a lot of money on the table by being cheap. As a landlord, I was rolling over seeing all this mishaps and missed potential. A county inspector would have a field day with all the blatant violations in plain sight. The view from our unit was awesome and the location to what we wanted to do was perfect. The unit itself was out of date, but honestly we stayed inside to sleep and and wake up. The people I dealt with were all courteous and polite, and that’s the reason why I gave them a 2 instead of a 1.

During the booking, it was mentioned that there will be a damage deposit on arrival. On the day of arrival, I just called the property to check on formalities of check-in and whether there will be kitchen appliances included. They said that I need to first provide my credit card details on call for damage deposit, and after that, they will answer my questions. After providing my card details, they said they didn't know if the property had any kitchen appliances! That was super weird. Rooms and interior looked pretty old. Kitchen appliances were available. Furniture and bed sheets didn't appear clean. There were so many instructions all over the place. I understand the motive behind it, but this was a bit extreme. Felt burden during the vacation.
The surrounding is nice and pleasant but wouldn't recommend this!

This review is for corporate office. The staff at facility is very nice. Do not invest in this timeshare. 900.00 a year for maintenance fees for nothing. Last 2 years, I couldn't use. When I called to change week, they couldn't help. Had to wait 30 days before week intended and then still couldn't help. Last time I was there, decks were off limits because 1 had collapsed. Do yourself a favor and invest some where else.

We prefer lodging where there are humans available to greet you and assist you but the surroundings are spectacular and the cabins are very spacious.

Quite old but still I would give 2 stars as I found a decent place to stay for 100 dollars per night

I have been to this place many times even though its an old resort but it’s peaceful that’s why we go! But this time I was charged for something I didn’t do and when I asked for proof it wasn’t giving! So disappointed in them! They said we kick the door and broke the lock! “I would of definitely called before breaking anything”. It changed a lot since the young girls left in the check in! Will never go back

It's a good quiet place, not a high end resort. Good for few night stay n enjoy the nearby attractions.

Guest Services sucks! Waited 2 hours to be check in with family and they ended up canceling our reservations. We drove 2 hours to get there only to be turned away because no one wanted to help! Never booking here again

Their was no guess services; ever since we checked in we requested fresh towels and linens for the pull out sofa, no one ever showed up. There are no phone in the villa units. The furniture is out date the TVs Are those ancient big back, heavy duty units. I couldn't believe my eyes. The cable was in and out. I would not recommend this place at. Do not stay here.
