Croydon Pizza reviews
17 5/5 stars
I had the pleasure of visiting Croydon Pizza for a quick lunch recently and was truly impressed by the quality and taste of their offerings. I tried a variety of items, including three plain slices, pepperoni and sausage, cheesesteak, and a California pizza. Each dish was fantastic and exceeded my expectations.
Plain Slices - Simplicity at its finest! The plain slices had a perfect balance of sauce and cheese on a crisp yet chewy crust. Sometimes, you can tell how good a pizzeria is just by their plain slice, and Croydon Pizza truly shines in this department.
Pepperoni and Sausage - The combination of these two classic toppings was a match made in pizza heaven. The pepperoni was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice, while the sausage added a savory, meaty touch that elevated the entire slice.
? Cheesesteak - This was a pleasant surprise! The cheesesteak was generously filled with tender, juicy steak and smothered in gooey cheese. The bread was soft but sturdy, making it the perfect vessel for the delicious filling.
California Pizza - A delightful twist on a traditional pizza, the California pizza came loaded with a medley of fresh toppings, including avocado, tomatoes, and red onions. The thin, crispy crust and tangy sauce were the perfect base for these vibrant ingredients.
The service at Croydon Pizza was friendly and efficient, with the staff ensuring that my order was accurate and promptly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends or family.
Overall, I would highly recommend Croydon Pizza for anyone in search of delicious, high-quality pizza and other Italian favorites. Their diverse menu is sure to please even the pickiest of eaters, and I can't wait to come back and try more of their delectable offerings!
Used to be the best pizza came from Philly every week to get the pizza to go home sometime would just get a couple slices and eat there don't think I will be going back after the pizza the other day
Not really understanding why there closed at 1pm on a Monday? Not really a normal time to be closed if you sell lunch/dinner food
Had a weird request for a pizza (garlic, sliced pickles, ranch, and olives) and they really did it the most justice possible, it was my favorite pizza I've eaten so far. And the guy taking the order was really nice about it. 10/10 recommend
I did not eat at this location in fact I had to park my car there for a short period of time and in an attempt to not get my car towed I asked the owner if this was ok and without hesitation he said no problem. Definitely sparked an interest to try there food when I get some money!?
A Croydon friend recommended their pizza. Ordered a medium pizza for takeout. It was good. Was very busy at a Wednesday lunchtime which indicates good food. Lots of people dining in.
Croydon Pizza: the best pizza in croydon
La Vera pizza: the best pasta dishes in old croydon
Friendly pizza: yeah they have food
Croydon Pizza is always good with a nice assortment of slices available. Quick and easy for lunch.
Lived in Croydon my 32 years on this planet and absolutely love Croydon pizza love Chicken Gaga's ha Pizza it is one of the best things I have ever eaten. Grilled chicken in between two pieces of this flatbread with fresh lettuce and tomato. Ummm umm I would recommend this to the queen of England. No BS. Staff are all great guys Larry just looks like he has given up entirely on graffiti and people trashing men's bathroom.
It’s 9: 30 on a Friday night they say they’re open but like always I get here and the doors are locked with staff standing around talking. They’re also Closed on Monday and any other random day of the week they decide to make up. Not to mention the last time I was here I ordered wings I order a small amount I believe 6-8 wings and they charged me $20 and the wings were horrible! And
Croydon Pizza crust has that little crunch from the crust, a lil salty pizza sauce, cheese is just okay. I tried the regular cheese pizza. It’s quick to order slices of pizza. 5-10 minute wait time
For the pizza to be reheated in their oven.
Consistently awesome for years and years. Excellent pizza, honestly the vest I have found for miles around. Love going here when I'm passing through Croydon.
If you don't already know Croydon Pizza is something special. I've been getting pizza here with my dad for some time. Nice cheese, crust, sauce, topping ratios. The ingredients are quality and the pizza is cooked perfectly. The crust is delicious all on its own. I also get cheesesteaks from time to time and they are good as well. Pro tip get some pizza and cheesesteaks then go to NCBC down the road for some craft beer. Can't go wrong with that.
A friend told me to get the buff chick Sicilian and let me say this thing was awesome! Each slice was filled with chicken, cheese, and delicious sauce. Might have set my my life expectancy back a few years!
Pizza is good but the older guy that works there needs to be more friendly with customers.
Wide selection, friendly staff. I'd reccomend the cheesesteak pizza, it is wonderful!
This place never disappoints. Grow up eating this food and it hasn't changed in 30 years
