Crystal River Gems, Pittsburgh PA

I used to come here a lot when they were at fifth ave place. When I went there hardly anything was labeled but at least employees were friendly and helpful. At their new location in the diamond building they have a much larger selection (mostly amethyst), and even less labels. It was impossible to find what you needed, and the lone employee had headphones in. When I WAS able to finally get her attention, she made a guess and walked away. Also, a few of the pieces I picked up were definitely plastic and not real mineral. The selection is far too big to not have everything labeled, that's so frustrating. Wont be returning.

My online order was not very good.im pretty sure i purchased what they call museum quality flats, but every single piece is a rough piece, not a specimen, each piece is broken, damaged, rough around the edges, destroyed and not in good condition.i would have NEVER purchased these items in this condition.they are selling rough stone as museum specimens.

The article corresponded to the description, the article met my expectations, but the quality is absent because the links were not closed the stones fell one after the other in conclusion the earrings are currently at my jeweler hoping that in can do something!

Great mineral shop. First time visiting them in their new location. Space seems a bit smaller than previous location but much better lit and easier to browse. Prices are much more reasonable than many other mineral shops in the city. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cool rocks and good prices, but owned by people who treat their disabled employees poorly.

A good place to shop for those looking for spiritual or aesthetic crystals. If you are looking for minerals from a geological perspective it isn't great. Few labels for what the minerals actually are, and nearly no information on province. Lots of decoratively cut pieces.

Online shopping was great! Everything well packaged and delivered on time. I am also impressed with the quality of products.

They have moved across Library Av. To the Diamond Bulding. Bigger nicer but difficult at best to get intonthe Bulding from the street because of security system at the door. The pass code to enter into the dial pad is wrong.

I visited from out of town a year ago and came back again while in the area! They have such a large amount of crystals and some fossils. They were very helpful when we called them asking where they were located. Also, they were extremely kind! Highly recommend this shop!

We've gone in several times the last few years and the whole family loves it here. The quality is high, prices are very reasonable and they carry a huge variety of products. This store is definitely worth a visit!

Literally, any time we're close to downtown, the kids ask, "Can we go to Crystal River? " They all have rock, gem and mineral collections and a lot if their purchases have come from here.

Staff has been friendly and helpful during our visits. Parking in the garage below the building is easy and fairly cheap. We've also found free on-street parking nearby during the week.

Extremely FAST shipping! I ordered a variety of pieces online and they delivered in 2 days. Legit stones and not to mention absolutely beautiful. Wide variety of different crystals, shapes, sizes and more. Very good deals. I will definitely be ordering from them again considering I am located out of state.

I am not a customer but a business owner and was looking for a place to purchase bulk crystals and came across this company. I had good hopes, the pictures are amazing, the prices are good but after these reviews. I have never seen such a gaslighty company like this. It seems that the entire staff ss rude and unwilling to actually care about their customers. The responses to some of the negative reviews. "sorry to hear how disappointing we are" not only is so gross to say to a consumer but also drives away any potential customers. That alone made me never want to purchase from you.better your customer service and you will probably see a lot more loyalty from people.

I received my order a day sooner then expected! Customer service has been good and my order was packed VERY well and compact and wrapped well so no damage could be done, which I truly appreciate! Will definitely be shopping here again and recommending to others as well! Thank you Crystal River Gems!
