Park Cucumber Falls reviews
14Cucumber Falls is an awesome place! The trail to it is wonderful and it's so fun to cross the water to get to the falls!
Amazing falls for the family. A small walk to falls from the parking area. Parking could be challenging due to the Parkin space available. But there is a moderate about 20 cars can be parked along the road, but the walk could be little longer. If you don’t get parking near by falls then only option to park in OhioPyle falls parking and walk. It’s definitely worth walking. I went here couple of times one time the water flow was lot so the falls, but the last trip was bit ok due to less water flow and falls. You will be able to take a dip in the water (expect it always bit cold water). Amazing view and falls. If you are near by this area don’t forget to check here. No restrooms, no dress changing area, little walk down to falls about 100 steps (wooden). Lot of rocks to reach the falls but not terrible and easily accessible.
I can honestly say this is my favorite fall. It's beautiful and the rocks are fun to climb on.
What a gem! Unfortunately the walkway down to it is quite Treacherous and needs fixed (the stones are mostly covered in soil/sediment & the railings are very loose so not accessible for anyone not 100% able-bodied and steady on their feet). But our group loved it! We ready liked how the path extended all the way to the riviera as well! Highly recommend, and we will definitely return for shaded summer water play!
One of the most beautiful places to see in Ohiopyle. We visit everytime we are in the area. We usually start at the natural rock waterslides since there is a bigger parking lot. We hike to the river and spend some time there. Then we hike the trail to the falls and creek up to the waterfall. There are some breath taking views. The water is always cold. It's a great way to cool down after a hot hike.
Awesome little falls in an hour drive from Pittsburgh. Loved the overall vibe with trail, stream, falls
Just between showers and it was beautiful a little slick walking down and around behind the falls but worth taking your time and being careful.
Don't listen to TLC. This place is one of the most scenic waterfalls in the SW corner of the state. Depending on when you visit the parking area may be full so if you want some privacy visit early or late in the day. If you are in the area during a rainstorm you must come here!
You can hear the falls as soon as you exit your car. If you don't hike you can view the falls from the top. There us a set of steps down to the bottom where you can get a better view of the falls.
Great park for families, plenty of activities such as rafting or hiking. Better come early before sunset to spend the day and get ice cream at the center.
In the midst of nature. Go visit this scenic, cool-shaded falls tucked away among tall green trees in a lush green forest. During summer when the flow of water recedes, one is able to walk over the top of the falls on rocks flattened by the constant force of flowing water over hundreds of years. The falls are located right in the heart of Ohiopyle State Park, not far from the Fallingwater architectural wonder. A combined visit to both these places would be a superb value-add.
It's a great waterfall to play in and cool off in the summer. You can also walk behind it. It is especially nice during the winter when it freezes.
Parking. Accessible. The falls were a little sad because of lack of rain at this point in the summer, but still beautiful!
Visited on 11.30.2019, Very Nice short Hike to the Falls and even down to the River. Worth a Stop to visit.
