Cumberland Rest Area, Newville PA

It was clean, We were driving and had to pee. On a 2 k round trip it was a nice rest area. Thank you Pennsylvania.

A nice rest area. Lot of parking space for trucks and cars. Clean washrooms. Vending machines empty. Green belts have picnic tables. Trucks can also park on enter and exit ramps. Pet exercise area is designated. Green belt is well maintained. Nice place to stop and stretch your legs.

Trucks park illegally everywhere they can at this rest stop. As a result, there are almost no spots available for cars.

Beautiful rest area. Pretty cleaned and well organized has vending machines clean restrooms.best place to get nessesory breaks.

Doors stick, and the toilet needs updating. Also, it is ALWAYS overloaded with trucks. A bit worrisome entering and leaving.

Beautiful state with state of the Art natural and man made landscapping through out penn state. I love to drive on state hwy in Pennsylvania and Tennessee. Rest areas are heaven stop for drivers but this one with benches under trees to have a picnic on the go if you make a stop couple exit before and grab your pizza. Lol

This is exactly what it says a resting place! It's clean. Get out of your vehicle, stretch your legs, use the facilities if needed, walk your dogs at the designated pet section.

I was slowly matriculating North with no set timetable to dictate my journey home. So I was stopping alot up til this reat area that I had occasion to nap in quite a few times in past employment. It was getting a little windy and I was for lack of a better ter, getting white line fever. So I checked my email and messages and 30 minutes later got out of the car to get the blood circulation going. After which I was not able to sleep with a constant stream of cars and I was mesmerized by the zany goings on that probably wouldn't surprise really anybody for the hour of night early morning it was. Because of the public nature of these reviews, I will omit the actual Shenanigans. The bathroom was not even close to the vision i perceived with the constant flow of travelers and truckers etc. There was some remodel or makeover in progress. And the biggest positive is safety. You can lock ur doirs and get the required number of hours sleep and not worry about being victimized as long as you use common sense and travelers caution. After couple hours I was not able to sleep and no more excitement, I was headed to Hershey and the Truck stop there. So if You have any concerns with this Interstate Rest Stop, park and take a cautious tact, and rest easy. It is also patroled by Pa. State Police.

Beautiful rest area! Has 2 walking trails, beautiful flowers, free parking for trucks, squirrels and rabbits if you get lucky to see them. We got to be very close to a rabbit and there were lots of squirrels.

This is a very nice rest area with clean restrooms.
There are picnic tables so that you can stop and have a rest and eat if you want.
