Very RUDE woman who ownes the place.
I stopped just to give my dog some water in the parking lot (never left my car) and she drove up and started taking pictures of my vehicle.
My Car was clearly running and she still decided to take photos “just in case” was her reasoning. “Karen” Was very snooty and rude and didn’t even ask what I was doing or why I was there before taking pictures of my car/plate.
If you can’t be polite in a situation as simple as this, how can she handle people going thru a loss?

A dear friend of mine's father recently passed away and, although, he wanted no services, she needed a funeral home to help her handle his cremation and other details. What a relief it was for her, Cunningham Funeral Home's staff were timely in responding and were compassionate and understanding. They went above and beyond to help my friend through the process. Thank you Cunningham's for taking such good care of my friend in her time of need.

Every experience that I have had at Cunningham Funeral Home as been exceptional! The staff is top notch. My family felt very comfortable with them in every aspect of their services, during our difficult time. The Cunningham Family is a very positive & active member in our community, also!

I give them the lowest rating possible. They tried to guilt trip us into buying more things than we wanted. They quoted us $7,000 when we wanted something very simple. We were able to find somewhere else for $2,500 and they gave us advice on further circumstances we would have to face. This place will try to take advantage of your emotional state and i beg you not to use them. We did not use this place because they try to scam you out of as much money as possible.

I couldn’t disagree with the last reviewer more. It’s a shame that when someone has a negative experience (which I know perception is reality) with a local business, instead of communicating directly and allowing them the courtesy to address the concern - they take it to the internet. We are not talking about Home Depot. This is a small town business embedded in the culture of Mercer and for that fact alone they deserve more respect. I have had a plethora of friends and relatives of friends choose to use Cunningham Funeral Home in their time of need - and every single experience has been positive. My own family has used CFH and I cannot begin to share the personal attention we received. This family understands loss and while yes - of course there is a business transaction to be had - its secondary to the emotional support and guidance they provide. There’s a reason this business has been in Mercer and Grove City for decades.
