Cusat's Cafe reviews
15Awesome breakfast! Very timely. Never let my coffee get cold. Food was very very good. Table of bff's next to me sharing mimosas. Another table of veterans enjoying each other's company. Can't wait to come back!
The food is always incredible, but the service is always subpar. Our server, Kristin, never checked in with us to see if we needed anything, and my drink was completely empty. Never even offered me another one, meanwhile I’m watching her stand in the kitchen eating and scrolling on her phone… absolutely unacceptable especially considering we were the only table in the restaurant. Take out is truly the only way to go, save yourself the trouble.
Food was delicious. I had a meatball and scamutz on a toasted roll and French fries. Prices reasonable. And our waitress was great. Definetly will go back. And would recommend it.
Food and service is always great. This visit was for a funeral luncheon. Service was perfect. Food was hot and delicious. Couldn't ask for a better place for this day.
My family and I have always loved Cusats.
The service is always exceptional, the grilled cheese is a must try! One of the best we've ever had!
Wings are another one of my favorites!
Everything is just great all the way around. If your native to hazleton and haven't given it a shot please do.
If you're passing through, again give it a shot, won't disappoint!
Had a great breakfast this morning! Wonderful place with nice people and food was delicious!
Very good diner fare. Not a place for being in a hurry, but a great place for catching locals and developing a connection with the servers.
Passing though from VA. Saved to my phone. Breakfast was wonderful. The people were very nice. Felt like home. Will definitely be my go to place when passing though Hazelton PA.
Food was great best Stromboli omelet ever had great service coffee was good best breakfast in some being I drive OTR great I highly recommend stopping if in the area!
I would definitely recommend this place.
I was visiting family in the area over the holidays. I needed a breakfast place to meet my cousin midway between where I was staying and were she lived. I searched, this one came up, and stuck out. As I was driving in I was a little nervous, the surrounding area is not the best looking area. But once inside, it was nice and quaint. The food was really good, the service was great and we had a wonderful visit with my cousin. Go by and see them and enjoy the food.
Nestled on the corner of 13th and Alter streets in Hazleton, PA is the cozy Cusats Cafe. Service and food are always well portioned and made to order.
Excellent spot for brunch on a Sunday. Get the Stromboli omelet.and a bloody mary. It'll fix you up. Also, great grilled cheesesteak sandwiches.
I had a wonderful lunch at Cusat's Cafe, a Hazleton, PA bar and restaurant. Cusat's has been in business since 1936! Without question, an impressive run. Cusat's is located in Hazleton's Alter Street Business District at 12th St. It features ample off-street parking and a covered outdoor deck for the warmer months.
For lunch, I went traditional Hazleton. I had a sausage and scamutz sandwich, fries with gravy and a Farmer's Iced Tea. The bread was a dream having been made by nearby Senape's Bakery. The roll is crispy on the outside, light and soft on the inside. Does not overpower the sandwich - perfect! The sausage was homemade. Again, the sausage was homemade! Perfectly seasoned and a little spicy it was perfectly balanced in flavor. For those not familiar, scamutz, derived from scamorza is a Hazleton-style mozzarella cheese. It is mild, creamy and melts perfectly. Friends, these folks are the real deal, food-wise!
Hazleton is a wonderland of multi-cultural food. Cusat's Cafe continues to take its well-deserved place in this community. I highly recommend a visit!
Great food! Very home town experience and food choices! The service was very friendly as well. We will definitely be back.
