Every single time I call the pharmacy to inquire about prescriptions, it takes them at least 10 minutes to answer the phone. I figured they were understaffed but when I went to pickup my prescription, there were 6 employees working back there. I was able to pick up my prescription quickly because of that, but the phones were ringing the whole time and none of the 6 employees even acknowledged it. It’s very poor customer service to not answer the ringing telephone. I’ll probably just go to the pharmacy in person to try to pick up my prescription since I can’t get ahold of anyone by calling. Ridiculous.

I arrived 5 mins early for my 10: 00 AM COVID vaccine appointment, and checked in using the app. The guy in the white coat who does the shots said he'd be with me shortly. A half hour went by before he actually got to me. During that time, he helped about five random people who were picking up prescriptions (all who came in long after me), and seemed to be doing other "busy work. " I had to speak up and complain to get him to give me the shot, which literally took him 2 mins to get everything ready and administer. So he wasted 30 mins of my time for absolutely no reason.

Also, they apparently NEVER answer phone calls. I've called before and waited for over 30 mins with no answer. While I was waiting for my vaccine, the phone was ringing the whole time and the 4+ employees all flat out ignored it.

This place is poorly managed, and I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Zero stars! This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever gone to. They are chronically understaffed, and the staff they do have are rude, careless, and flat out lie to customers about both pickup time availability, as well as if they even received prescriptions. Yes, you read correctly, they LIE about if they’ve received prescriptions. My only guess is so they can avoid having to do the work of filling them. Honestly this place should be shut down, they are that bad.
Save yourself time and stress and just go elsewhere.

Waited about 20 minutes for my first vaccine shot which was fine but upon returning home I realized they didn't give me a vaccine card? So i tried calling for about 35/40 minutes and they never picked up. Am about to drive back and ask for one!

If I could give the pharmacy a few negative stars I would. My mom had a prescription called in on a Monday they didn’t fill the prescription until Friday. They kept sending me text messages the medicine was ready but it wasn’t. I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy at all. They had this guy named Paul at the drive through and he was rude. I plan on transferring my moms prescriptions

Every time I pick up a prescription using the drive through, it's a 30 minute wait. It's not even that the line is too long - customers flat out aren't attended to. We'll stay in the same spot for 10-15 mins at a time before they get to anyone.

I asked the employee why it took so long, and she told me, "if you have a problem waiting, you should have come inside to pick it up. " Absolutely nasty person. So I guess they intentionally neglect the drive through.during a pandemic when we're supposed to be socially distancing.

My doctors office confirmed they sent a prescription here 3 business days ago, but I haven't received confirmation from CVS that it's ready for pickup. I tried to call, and no one will answer. I've tried to call other times for other reasons, and have literally never gotten through. You can see from the attached image that I was on hold for almost 35 minutes before I hung up.

I used to use Rite Aid. It never took them more than 2 hours to confirm a prescription was filled after being sent in, and I never had to wait more than 5 mins at the drive through.

I'm never going to this CVS again - for anything.

I wish I could give this less stars. This pharmacy is a joke. Literally every single time I’ve come here they’re confused and act like they don’t know what prescription I’m talking about even though they themselves notified me it’s filled! I always wait forever in line because they can’t seem to figure out how to do anything at all. Please for the love of god go to a different pharmacy if you want to keep your sanity.

Worst pharmacy ever. When you call you will be waiting for someone to pick up for at least 25 min and that is every time you call. I asked for my prescription to be refilled and I showed up the next night and I had to wait 15 min for them to fill it, because it still hadn’t been filled yet. This used to be a good pharmacy, but it has been a poor experience for some time now which is such a shame because this location used to be great.

Even if you call in days ahead of time they will not fill your prescription until you are at the register waiting. This creates huge backlogs. They are frequently out of stock and will not call you when they get it in stock. They have already claimed they didn't get the prescription and then when the doctor resent it they filled it twice.today they said they didn't have my doctor in their system even though they just filled a prescription from her two days ago. I can't believe a business this incompetent is legally allowed to be in charge of someone's medical health

I never used to have issues with this CVS location but things have gone downhill, BADLY, over the last 6 months or so. My doctor's office will send prescriptions to them electronically, and in the past I would get a text from CVS within an hour or two telling me it was ready for pickup. Not anymore! Several days go by after my doctor sends an Rx, and I have to call them to find out why it isn't ready and when it will be ready, and they usually give me some sort of excuse "oh we are working on it now. " Also, just to call them to speak to someone in the pharmacy, be prepared to wait, a LONG time. Last week I was on hold for nearly 40 minutes before someone finally answered. Again, I was calling to find out why my Rx sent by my doctor still wasn't ready after 4 days. They assured me it would be ready the following day. So I go to pick it up, only to find that they had filled the Rx with a generic, even though my doctor clearly writes on the prescription that I need BRAND NAME ONLY, as I have a bad reaction to the generic. And since it is a controlled substance, they have to contact the doctor to get a whole new prescription sent through. I took it upon myself to also call my doctor, and ask them to send the new prescription to the other CVS location in Lititz, on North Broad Street. And I will also ask to have my next several prescriptions sent to that location (I have 3 each month to fill). If I don't have any issues getting them filled at that location, I will be switching all of my prescriptions to be filled there. Yes, it is across town from me (I live right near the CVS at Kissel Village) but if I am able to get my meds without hassle and in a timely manner, I don't mind driving the extra 10 minutes. Also, when I called the North Broad St.location about having my Rx transferred there, I was on hold less than 3 minutes before someone answered the phone. I took that as a good sign. AVOID THE KISSEL VILLAGE LOCATION, IT WILL ONLY CAUSE YOU FRUSTRATION. I understand that mistakes happen, human error is inevitable from time to time. But their lack of communication, disorganization, and disregard for getting people their medication in a timely manner is just awful.

Worst Pharmacy ever. Tried calling and was on hold for 45 minutes. Showed up at the drive-through, five hours after I was told my prescription was sent to the pharmacy and they told me it would not be done today, it would be the next day. This is not the first time, time to find a different pharmacy.

This has been the worst CVS I've ever dealt with. I've had so many issues with them the last few weeks. They have the worst customer service. I am put on hold for 30+ minutes. I am told my prescription is ready and I get there and they say 15 minutes and it's another three hours. I have never dealt with such a poor CVS. Not sure what happened to this CVS they used to be good.

Total chaos! So disorganized and understaffed. Don't let them waste your time. Go to Walgreens or Rite-Aid. #lifeistooshort

This drive thru pharmacy is the worst ever. Every time I come to pick up they are not ready. I’m talking hours later. Some times days before. Then they precede to tell me that I need to get out of the drive through line and wait 20 minutes. So I do. I come back 30 min later. Sit in long line again only to tell me that they’re still not ready. To go around again. With like 10 cars in Line. This is the worst ever. Cvs Kissel village in lititz. I will take all my prescriptions out of here. Melanie Akers

This was my first experience dealing with CVS Pharmacy and absolutely my Last. My husband had a heart transplant as covid19 began to unfold and all of his meds were forwarded from his hospital to CVS. Obviously, these meds are imperative to his survival, but I was confronted with lies concerning when his prescriptions would be ready (not by an hour or so, but by days), total ignorance by the staff, and at no time, concern by the pharmacist, himself, for the need to be addressed. When I shared my experience with the pharmacist at Sloans Pharmacy (I have always used for myself), she actually came out to my car to speak with me because only the drive-thru was open due to covid19. It was like a heavy weight was lifted from my shoulders. NEVER CVS

If I could give zero stars, I would. My prescription was filled incorrectly 5 times in three months, and they ignored medical alerts on my account regarding a certain brand of prescription heart medication I need that if is not filled correctly, would give me an allergic reaction and could also mess with my heart rhythm. They also often change medication manufacturers without notifying patients. My medication prices would sometimes double in price from month to month, and even though I have very good insurance and my scripts were covered (and should have only ever been $5), they told me my insurance was not valid and so would frequently charge me up to $14 for my script, one time attempting to charge me $22. I took my script elsewhere the same day and my insurance was verified and the script filled in just moments while I waited for $3.00 - what it should have been this whole time. Nobody answers phone calls here, I was on hold for sometimes up to 10 minutes before anyone ever picked up the phone, if they would at all.
Such a shame, because this location used to be the best one in this general area. I will never, ever go back.

I have used this pharmacy twice in the last 3 weeks. My experience has been consistently bad. Three weeks ago my doctor sent in my scripts, I stopped on my way home, bronchitis, coughing, generally feeling terrible. I waited at the counter, finally was able to let them know I was there for a pick up. I knew the meds wouldn’t be ready, it was a short trip there. I waited for one hour and twenty five minutes and finally left with my meds. My prescriptions were marked as “waiting. ” Others were there as well and waited as long as I did. There was not enough help and staff seemed disinterested in moving things along. Today I stopped again to fill a script for my daughter. A z-pack, pills prepackaged in a box, it needs a label to process, no counting. Again, I waited over an hour for this script. The lines were long, others waited forever as well. As I signed for the script, I was told to wait for the pharmacist. I didn’t have questions. One pharmacist went for a drink, the other on the phone, back to waiting. The pharmacist cleared the phone, spoke to me and said my script expires in September and needs to be used first. I said ok and finally left, nearly an hour and twenty five minutes again. I reviewed my scripts, got a few other items, nothing expired in September. I have no idea why I waited longer, or what he was even talking about now. I will not use this pharmacy again, two times, almost 3 hours total waiting time. Wasted my time there for the last time. If you’re in a hurry, don’t go to this CVS. After waiting this long, sorry doesn’t cut it. I’d give it “no stars” if I could.

Was put on hold on the phone for 30 mins like everyone else here. Then, I waited in the store over 45 mins for prescriptions that were already a day or 2 late. Except this time, I called corporate afterwards. Even corporate couldn’t get ahold of this pharmacy until finally trying a DIFFERENT phone number than what’s listed on their site. The customer service rep was wonderful and assured me that phone complaints will be brought up to this CVS. Hopefully we see that change. Dont even bother coming to this location until management sort out their issues.
