I try to be patient and understanding, but I am amazed at how bad my experiences here have been for the last few months. Like many other reviewers have said, every single time I go to this pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions, they are "closed". I say "closed" because there are actually staff present in the pharmacy, but they refuse to serve customers.
Here is just one of many recent frustrating visits to the Hellertown CVS: They recently reduced the pharmacy hours to 10am-6pm, so today I went at 1: 30pm to pick up. Even though there were two staff members behind the counter, they refused to serve me, saying that they were going on lunch. I don't understand why they wouldn't take staggered breaks, so that one person could mind the counter while the other went on break, and vice versa. This was the only time during their limited business hours that I will be available for the next two days to pick up my prescriptions. I think it is unreasonable to run a business this way, and it makes it very difficult for me to run such a simple errand as picking up medications. I will be investigating other options in the area and will try to take my business elsewhere after this rude, frustrating, and unprofessional experience.
On phone nearly 15 minutes, hold most of time which is ok if you get an answer; had a simple scheduling question, but was difficult to understand the person, phone system seemed poor & was cut off.
Stopped by to drop off script.pharmacy closed at 6: 00 on a Thursday. Are you serious? ,,!
The store itself is fine, but some selfish doofuses without masks. Eww. Sorry, but you lose business that way.
The pharmacy is always busy so expect a wait you aren't the only customer there. I've always had a great experience and the staff is lovely.
When i went to go pick up my prescription, the girl at the front was very nice. However, the male Pharmacist, Michael, was extremely rude. I was told by the other woman pharmacist when I called that my prescription was not going to be carried at this store, so I needed to ask him questions on what other options I could use to still get my birth control prescription. He acted as though I was a complete inconvenience to him. Rushing to give me answers that did not explain anything. He told me “that’s not something I’ve heard about, I dont know who you talked to” and so I called my mom to make sure I was asking the right questions and he was extremely rude about it and did not offer me any help until I had my mom on speaker phone. He told me “turn that off” and shook his head and demanded me to give him my phone to talk to my mom.
Long story short, I ran out of this CVS crying and hyperventilating because I hated how he made me feel. I’m a very polite person, so there was no reason for him to be aggressively rude towards me for just asking simple questions that I was unsure of.
Insane. Store is supposed to be open. Big sign on the door says closed. They have my prescriptions… I understand things happen, but seriously? A pharmacy with hundreds of patients meds, just closed and locked up. This is unreal….
I wouldn’t even give this store 1 star. The pharmacy department is rude ever since Cindy retired. The lady pharmacist is nice also. But the current one was just yelling at someone over the phone. Again if you don’t like your job move on!
The pharmacy is completely unorganized. The one pharmacist is extremely rude as well as one of the technicians. It's pretty sad when you are extremely ill with multiple diseases and a tech has to tell said pharmacist to "calm down Carl, she is very sick. " And apologized to me. I'm contacting corporate. I'm done with this store.
Manager Jack Copeland is wonderful, patient and kind! Terrific customer service. I recommend Hellertown CVS. I find everyone there helpful and pleasant. Thank you!
