Drug Store CVS reviews
17Why is the staff so mean? Certainly don’t need the pharmacists help. They could care less and have zero interest in helping anyone
I called a refill in at 10am, I was told give them a couple hours. I went in at 2, the script wasn’t even in the system to fill. Very poor service
I would give 0 stars if I could. This pharmacy never has anything ready/ in stock although they say otherwise on their app AND when I call in. There’s always the same issue- month in and month out with the same prescriptions I’ve been getting for MONTHS. Do not recommend unless you want a headache.
All your employees are so nice! All of them. Young boys & girls, older, all so nice and helpful. Thank you so much!
The female pharmacist at this location has an attitude with everyone; I literally have never come closer to smacking someone across the face in my entire life. Extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional - for as much money as these pharmacists make, they could at least pretend to like their job.
Refused to look up or transfer my prescription from another location and didn't want to be bothered with my questions at all. Told me to literally pay the full price or go to another pharmacy. No need to worry - I will take my Rx elsewhere for sure!
Nearly every prescription that is sent has to be verified before it is filled. We have had some sent by the doctor to fall into a void because more information was needed by the doctor. Instead of reaching out to the prescriber when received they wait until you ask for it then tell you to come back later.
CVS specialty is even worse. They have tried to calculate dosage in conflict with the doctor, holding the prescription of life saving medicine for weeks. It took the hospital to call them and demand that it get sent before they would send it.
This only related to the pharmacy function.the staff are fine, but the operations are horrible. Rx's are late; will get a text that an Rx is ready, and when I try to pick up, it's not there; inventory is often not stocked in line with scheduled monthly Rx's.so no management of upcoming refill needs. It's really very bad.
The pharmacy is completely disorganized and unprofessional. Expect to wait 12-24 hours for them to process a prescription. Always check what they give you before leaving the store.
As someone who works in the health/customer service field, this place needs some serious training in every aspect of what this store should be. I'm surprised this place is still in business.
I gave y’all 5 stars once. But things have really changed. I won’t go into detail but I’ve never been treated this bad in my life. Thanks for breaking me, it worked you win
Wish I could give the pharmacy a negative stars
The people that answers the phone are so rude and not helpful at all
I stopped by to grab nail polish that was allegedly in stock (I checked online ahead of time!) and of course it wasn't there. I decided to just grab some coconut water instead, and I used the self checkout to be quick. Of course, the machine prompted me to get a team member's help, because apparently customers can't even buy coconut water without assistance at this location. This store is always disorganized and it makes no sense to me because the employees at the front have always been so nice. I don't get how it's such a mess.
But then there's the pharmacy. My boyfriend has had issues for four months straight with getting his prescription filled at this location. They always promise it by the next day and then suddenly its out of stock, or they have to double check with his physician, or they're on lunch break (yes, they have been late to fill his meds because apparently lunch is a two hour event). He has had the same prescription for 20 years and they always treat him like he doesn't know what he's talking about.
The drive thru is sometimes randomly closed for no apparent reason. All of the pharmacy staff are rude. The other day a manager for the location was filling her prescription and the pharmacy staff didn't even know who she was. How do you not know your own management? They truly don't care and should all be fired/replaced. What's the point of having a pharmacy if it doesn't even perform its basic functions? Anyways, if it wasn't clear already, we are switching to another pharmacy next month.
Pharmacy technician was extremely rude and short with me when I was trying to get information on my son's medicine.
Everyone is rude from store staff to pharmacists. And today was no exception. Their secondary pharmacy drive thru lane is ALWAYS closed-it was closed just last week. So I was waiting in the main line. And some lady pulled into the secondary lane. When I got to the window the pharmacist/tech (not sure which) said she would help line 2 because they were there first. I said actually, they weren't, but sure go ahead. She huffed and said FINE I'll help you first. She was curt with me and cut me off when I was trying to ask her how long the 2nd line has been open. Then said "It's BEEN open". WRONG answer, because it has been habitually closed in the last year I've lived here. I would know. So no points for rudeness and negative points for the snide and completely inaccurate comment.
May is an awesome sales representative in the cranberry township CVS retail area. She is always cheerful helpful and welcoming.
The pharmacist in charge of this CVS location in Cranberry Township is Kathleen Hallisey and has been for some time. Kathleen Hallisey has failed to follow state guidelines and has directly been responsible for this pharmacy failing inspections due to EXPIRED medications on the shelves. If you think you have received expired medication from this pharmacy please contact a Pittsburgh Medical Malpractice Representative. This is completely unacceptable on a professional level from Mrs. Hallisey. This pharmacy needs to get it's act together and remove the expired medications from it's inventory. I would give this pharmacy a F due to Kathleen Hallisey's negligence when it comes to patient safety.
Save yourself the trouble and get your prescriptions at another pharmacy. This is literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Tons of mistakes: restocking a prescription that they were holding, deleting scripts in their system, not filling scripts that were sent by the Dr. 's office, and many more issues.
