Drug Store CVS reviews
18I’ve always had “okay” experiences at CVS, but I was very impressed with Amanda, an employee at this location. She was kind, patient, and extremely helpful to all customers. The location is also well stocked, organized, and clean. I will make this my priority drug store from now on!
I had an awesome experience at the Mount Joy CVS. Tony was just great. My photo printed wrong and I wasn’t sure if it was my fault or the store’s. It didn’t matter! I called and spoke with Tony she said to come back in and we will reprint them free of charge. She was so nice and caring and I appreciated the time she took to help me. Thank you, Tony!
Pharmacy was closed at 130 when I went to pick up my prescription, which is obviously not listed online. Made the drive over for nothing. If my insurance didn’t force me to use cvs for prescriptions, I would NEVER come here. Insurances should not be able to dictate where you get your meds because this is what you end up with, places with garbage service still getting business.
Was at doctor on Thursday he faxed in a prescription for me while I was sitting there. I went to pickup the prescription on Saturday and guess what out of stock check back on Monday. I am supposed to start the prescription on Sunday. This is not the first, second or third time this happened to me. I really don’t know how this place stays in business.
Store looks unorganized with boxes everywhere. Regular mistakes from Pharmacy to store. Some staff can be unfriendly.
Horrible customer service in the pharmacy! Lack of communication, extremely rude, unwillingly to help, lady at the drive thru window had a major attitude problem. My prescription for seizures never got filled despite being told it would be by today! No one called to let me know there was a problem, wasted gas driving over to pick up a prescription that was never filled and now the office is closed so I cannot even reach out to them to have the prescription sent over again. Now I'm completely without the medication for at least 24 hours, and hoping a seizure doesn't incur! You'd think a pharmacy of all places would be more aware of the importance of communicating when there's a problem filling something like seizure meds!
I am leaving this review after switching pharmacists because the one in Mount Joy is so bad. I've gone over two weeks without my medications and this isn't the first time that this has happened and yeah it needs to change. So I'm going somewhere else and I suggest you do the same.
Spoke with a girl in the pharmacy asking if I had any prescriptions available for pick up.the girl said no and I didn't have any that was available for refill. I had an order that was supposed to be pick up with in 2 weeks, I was unavailable for picking this up.the girl wouldn't help me at all.she said I would have to go back to my doctor for a refill because there were no refills still on this prescription. I told her I had not picked up the prescription that was was filled and so I do have that prescription available.she argued with me. I told her I wanted to talk to her supervisor and she hung up on me. Really this is not how CVS should be I was only trying to get my prescription I had not had an opportunity to pick up. ALL I ask is be nice.be professional and stop saying now before you check.you are not the boss and if you would talk to the right person.you would understand that alot of times the customer could be right.and using common sense would help this matter!
If your looking for customer service don’t bother walking through the doors. Nothing but bad experience there. No cashier, self check out and long lines. Wife was looking for something had it on her phone but could not find it, she asked for help and was told they could not look it up. She went to another store they where able to look it up. Guess I wasted my time with this I don’t believe anyone in management reads it. By the way the other store employee said all she hears is bad things from Mtjoy.
I really hate leaving bad reviews and I empathize with and understand the stress of being understaffed. I am not trying to be insensitive to the people who are trying their best here because I see and appreciate it. However, I've been getting my medication from here for years and cannot tell you how many issues have come up that were not my fault (medication on back order without notifying me, giving me the wrong prescription, etc.) Yet, no matter how polite and patient I try to be, they have treated me like a nuisance, they are not helpful at all, and are very rude in person and over the phone (aside from a select few of really nice/helpful employees). I will definitely be switching pharmacies asap. Hoping things look up for them soon.
On more than one occasion, this location has still been closed after 8 or even 9: 00 AM (when they are ache’s to be open after 8: 00 AM). I’ve been forced to drive down to the Elizabethtown location just to do business. The first time it happened, I can give a little grace and patience. Today, I was there after 9: 00 AM and the doors were locked again. I can understand being short staffed as all of their locations in this area are in similar positions but it gets frustrating having to be on the receiving end of that situation time and time again. I enjoy my CVS CarePass but will have to resort to other locations for any in-person shopping from now on.
I visited CVS in Mount Joy tonight and have nothing but respect and appreciation for the Pharmacist working this evening. He was the only person handling the entire pharmacy due to what I can only assume is staffing issues and he was kind and efficient. Someone give that man a raise!
The worse experience I have ever had! My doctor calls in my heart meds the pharmist was very rude. Tell me he is very busy and didn't check the voice mail (5 hrs) my doctor left for my meds. Then to top it off, my doctorcall the next day and left it on the voice ma and I still don't have my heart meds can't call my doctors office now until Monday. So it will be 4 days NO meds. I see CVS doesn't care about a person's health.
It doesn't matter what cvs you go to in lancaster county the pharmacy never picks up the phone ive called 3x with no answer
I picked up my prescription and noticed I was shorted two pills. I called to remedy the situation and was told to come back in to pick up the rest of my prescription. I showed up, there was no record of it. I called back to find out what was going on. The pharmacist working (Jerry or Gerry) apparently was not the original one I talked to when I originally called. Although Jerry explained to me that I would have to call when the regular pharmacist was working, while explaining it, he was rude and abrasive and hung up on me. Not exactly the type of customer service someone would expect considering CVS screwed up.
This is the worst pharmacy the staff are nasty and they are always short staffed our meds where called in hrs are and here it is 722 and they still aren't ready their prices are three times more than any other drug store around I can't believe people buy anything from CVS we will be changing pharmacy
14 people in line to check out. No cashiers working at all. One self checkout down and only one open, people waiting over 20 min to check out. What type of a business is this?
I will not be back unless they replace the self checkouts with a cashier. I had to wait 10minutes because the coupon box was full. I didn’t even have a coupon! The customer service rep was friendly and helpful but 5 people tried to use the self checkout and we all had problems. Maybe it’s your self checkout system.
