Excluding the pharmacy as I rarely ever need medications, this CVS storefront has a wide variety of products such as makeup, gadgets, snacks, drinks, and more. They have printers so if you need to print a picture because it’s late and the library’s closed, you can go to this CVS and get it done there. They also provide covid testing so if you need to get a test done for work or for yourself, you can get it done here you just need to schedule an appointment on the CVS website and the process of getting it done is easy going through the drive thru.

Made a special trip to pick up my meds, only to find out that they close their Pharmacy, in the middle of the afternoon, for a “lunch break”. What is this Mad Men? Like most people, I’m lucky if I get a protein bar in the car for lunch. That was today. Couldn’t stop earlier, had a work appointment to get to. Came back to find this nonsense. You’re in retail healthcare! There are certain fundamentals that go with that, like the hours. Figure out a way to give your employees a break just like any other business.
Additionally, they took 9 days to get one of my prescriptions ready. No longer needed it.

Update: my wife and I got diagnosed with Covid, and were prescribed Paxlovid. Apparently the FDA extended the expiration date on this medication. That would be a really great thing to preemptively warn people about, when you know you’re giving them meds with expired dates. I could have saved the additional aggravation of trying to call, even though nobody will ever ever answer, then driving back, and waiting in a long drive thru line, all while sick.
Time to change finally, I guess

Most of these pharmacies seem to have awful customer service. Either they don’t answer the phones or their comprehensive skills are lacking in professionalism. Healthcare is a big fat zero! Stay healthy folks!

Be prepared to make several trips before getting your meds! Be prepared to WAIT! You might even wait and still not get your meds. Don’t matter what date or time I go for a prescription they NEVER have anything ready. If you need something the same day this is not the place. I’ve never been here and didn’t have a problem with picking up.

Went to pick up a prescription at Woodlyn CVS and sat in the drive-through behind another car for 15 minutes. Called the pharmacy and was told that someone would be right there. Another five minutes goes by and the person in front of me leaves. I get to the window and no one is there. The girl comes to the window after 5 minutes and then I’m asked to come inside because they’re too busy to work the drive-through. When I said I could not come inside and had already waited over 20 minutes, she said that’s fine and slammed the window. There were 4 other cars behind me that I’m sure received the same treatment. I will be transferring my business to a different pharmacy.

My mother stopped by this pharmacy today to pick up pain meds for my father who just had surgery. They gave her the wrong medicine (after she asked them if it was correct) so she went back. They made her wait a long time so she checked in with the pharmacist. My mother mentioned that this was her 3rd trip here and wanted to know what the confusion was. The pharmacist then went up to another worker while whispering and giving my mom dirty looks. She then started yelling at my mom. I wish my mother would’ve gotten her name but she did describe her as a thin brunette. Anyways, this lady doesn’t deserve a job. I mean, I know it’s a Delco pharmacy so I don’t expect much, but geez. I can’t believe I have to write this review from Denver CO! Do better & get better pharmacists & maybe you’ll get some good reviews.

Why could I not use my 40% off coupon? Because the item was BOGO 50% off? I think you should make it clearer the restrictions on the coupons. And.the self checkout, machine dod not give me a receipt. Clerk was unable to get one for me. Hope I wasn't overcharged

I was happy that I was able to get a vaccination appointment the same day, however the experience was not so accommodating. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and checked in at the pharmacy counter was told to go over to the consultation desk. The cashier told the administrator that a vaccine customer was here, she acknowledged and I went to the consultation desk. The vaccine administrator then went on to help someone that was after me and had the audacity to tell me she would be right with me. I was highly annoyed and her matter of fact way she spoke to me made me even more annoyed. I will not return for another vaccine or use this CVS pharmacy. The same cashier who told me to go to the consultation desk came to the cough and cold aisle helped someone, unlocked the shelf and went back to the register. When I asked for something out of the shelf I was told by her and the administrator that I had to ring the bell for an associate to help me, which was clearly a lie. I am a woman of color and that was the difference between those they helped before me and after me. This was the worst visit to CVS ever, however thankful for the associate a man of color who did not think it beneath him to unlock the shelf to help me get what I needed.
