D & D Family Restaurants reviews
14Wow what can I say about this place. Stopped in on Black Friday and the food was Amazing! The hometown feel. For a minute I felt like I lived in Watson town!
Small menu, food was average, service was terribly slow Food was served without a word, and the middle of a well-done burger was raw. We wanted to order dessert after our meal and waited over 10 minutes for the waitress to come back, then finally gave up and just went to the counter to pay. Wouldn't stop again sadly.
I love the food only thing preventing 5 stars is the fee they charge for takeout now.
Two weeks ago their credit card machine was down and I had to get cash out which the fees were six dollars a long with the fee from the restaurant.
My meal that I normally get for like 10 to $11 cost me almost $20 that day because of that.
Called and ordered the D & D mess. Specifically said no cheese. It was smothered in cheese. And those are not home fries, undone potato chunks.
Great niche location in Central Pennsylvania in the tiny town of Watsontown with what I call the perfect sized menu (one page). Offering bottomless coffee and all-you-can-eat hotcakes, what's more to ask for? If you're ever in the area, stop by, grab a bite, and enjoy your pass through.
I’m up in the area looking at a roofing job I was referred to. I wish I lived locally, this would be my new breakfast spot!
Charming setting, friendly staff and great food!
Better than I expected. A pleasant, bright, and well maintained property that the locals and visitor alike will appreciate! Home cooked meals, friendly service, and fairly priced! Be sure to try the Turkey Reuben!
Go for the spaghetti and meat sauce! And I guarantee, you will never look at meatballs the same!
A great place for breakfast and home cooked meals. You are treated like family by the staff!
We have only ever had breakfast here. It has always been very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Nice local spot for breakfast or lunch. Not sure if they're open for dinner. Food was good service is good. Waitress did well with the large crowd we had
Breakfast was decent, but the if you use debit card they charge an extra 3% + for using card?
Don't know of any restraunt that does that. (they may but hide in order?)
Food was absolutely delicious. Had the breakfast. Finally found a breakfast diner that used fresh sausage and not frozen out of a box. Good pricing as well. Definitely will be back
Got the bbq bacon burger the patty was thin no flavor probably didn't help it was really over cooked bacon was chewy was definitely not cooked fresh with the burger I ordered onion rings and fries that was $4.50 sorry for the meal and I got a water to drink it was right at $15 pricey and the fruit was brought never checked and came back to ask if the food was okay I paid and left not the greatest experience the atmosphere was really cool I might would go back and try breakfast maybe
