Da Vinci Science Center reviews
15Excellent value for adults. Especially BODY WORLDS RX. A fun time for all, but definitely geared toward children.
An amazing place. The hands-on activities for the kids are well thought out and really engaging!
The trans vibe and agenda permeates this place and ruins an otherwise wholesome and educational experience for families. Keep your kids close if you decide to go here!
Great science center to bring the kids to in Allentown. If you're in the area a membership pays for itself in two visits. They have a ball contraption that my kids will spend an hour+ playing at.
A "science center" that's geared towards children proudly displaying the trans pride flag.
Parents just keep your kids close.
Took the kids here last weekend. We all ended up having a great learning experience. Highly recommended for all.
We visited the center for the first time and loved it so much that we bought a membership! So much for kiddos to explore!
Wonderful fun Lots of interactive exhibitions for children. A tiny aquarium is fascinating to observe.various displays for various eras. There was a Mack Truck exhibit there when I visited. Excellent value for adults. A fun time for all, but definitely geared toward children.
Normally I would of given this place 5 stars. NORMALLY. But today I'm going to have to rate them as 1 star. Today when I took my kids to the center, was our first time we were very unsatisfied. 2 of the employees were extremely rude to my kids, and 1 even when as far to completely ignore them and not let them take part in one of the opportunities. We were going to be renewing our memberships, but after this experience I think we will be passing on returning again.
It is a very nice place to do hands on science experiments and learn at the same time. The place is divided into 2 zones (lower and upper) and you can do everything from making your own paper aircraft and testing it in the Wind Tunnel, making your own animation movie, building with Keva Blocks, building your own flying machine, generating electricity by pedaling using hands, painting with light, navigating a 75 ft tunnel with senses, etc.
I definitely recommend going there early morning at 10 AM when they open to avoid crowd and enjoy the time doing experiments.
My son had a blast, he's only two and was easily able to play with all the interactables, and it kept him engaged and intrigued. They even had a nice festive spooky attraction for Halloween.
His favorite attractions seemed to be the "Create Your Own Stop Motion" and the "Kaleidoscope". The place is fun for adults and kids alike. The staff is super friendly. There is so much to do. They even have a little science gift shop.
Came for the space event today and had a blast. Lots of fun activities in addition to the regular exhibits.
Staff is always really great with explaining science to the kids in a way that I couldn't, and everybody was super nice despite it being busier than usual.
(also, to all the people missing the dinos: that was a limited time thing last year)
This place has so much potential, but the clientele is the problem. Anything "hands on" was either damaged or inoperable. I hope they find a way to make this what it could be, or maybe was at one time.
Nice exhibits and variety of activities to learn. Was expecting some thing larger but there was still plenty to do. Would love to see a nonslip mat placed around the boat racing water activity center as many kids splash and spill water which causes other kids to slip. Would recommend to families and there seems to be something there for everyone.
