Daddy's Kitchen reviews
17Excellent family restaurant with flavorful & fresh dishes. Great for lunch, dinner & brunch.
Good food, great portions
Clean. Iit's a great place to meet a friend for breakfast.
Place is great for breakfast or lunch daily. Soups, specials, Mexican requests. Never a bad experience.
We happened upon this restaurant totally by accident. We tried it and were very pleased with the food. The service was just ok. Server was not very attentive, and thats a big no no for me. I had the London broil sandwic, which was very tender and seasoned well. The broccoli was actually a salad and it was good but it's not what I expected. My husband had breakfast so there's not much that can go wrong with that. I did a review of the restaurant on my YouTube channel, "the Chat, " with Miss Hollywood. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.
I absolutely love this place. There food is delicious, from there breakfast omelets to there chicken wraps, cheeseburgers, soups and I can go on and on. The staff is amazing. I always look forward to dining here when I am in town.
I think this is the first restaurant review I have ever written, but this place was freaking awesome! I had the farmers omelette and everything was so fresh and the presentation was so nice. You have to get the homemade biscuit, huge and fluffy and yummy! Not to mention the staff, Very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back to try lunch and dinner.
Very good food I had the Ruben the staff was awesome wish they had one closer to me in Wilmington. But worth the drive definitely
Very nice and friendly restaurant. It's next to but separate from the Sunoco station. Lots of parking. Good breakfast selection.
Driven by this place lots of times and never really knew what it was like. Excellent food! There is a slant to Mexican items, but they have a wide selection. We had a mix of breakfast items and lunch. There are only a few tables indoors and the largest seats 4. We had 5 and just added another chair for a child. Nothing fancy in terms of atmosphere - feel alike a strip mall diner - but clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. Nice spot for breakfast or lunch. I can't say enough though. TOP NOTCH FOOD! We'll be back!
We’ve made a point to stop here whenever we drive by. Mushroom soup is phenomenal, excellent french toast, and wonderful chorizo. The chilaquiles were our latest item to try and they did not disappoint. The staff were attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. I wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.
My daughter and her family have had breakfast here several times. They recommended it to us. My husband and I had dinner there recently. It was delicious! Our server was very nice. It is so cute and cosy inside. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It also has good prices, very clean and is family friendly!
Was on my way to Lancaster and hubby started to get sick from hunger. Asked Google what was nearby and was directed here. Best recommendation in a long time! Place was clean! Staff was sweet and food was excellent and fresh! We had French toast (his with Nutella, yeck!). But it was ALL great! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. About the same price and distance for what we'd do for Cracker Barrel, but much more satisfying! First time in a while that I was able (and enjoyed!) eating everything on the plate! We'll be back again!
Daddy's serves a basic and fresh breakfast with no frills and really good coffee and service. Beware of the fast salt shaker.
Breakfast was good. Omelette was light and fluffy and quesadilla was huge. The waitress was efficient and friendly.
Stopped for gas and saw the sign. Went inside as was delighted! Food was very well prepared, service was fast and friendly, everything was fresh and tasty. Portions were very large, preparation was careful and thoughtful. Even the selection of tea bags was above expectations! A large box of tea bags included a nice selection of herbal and more traditional teas. I ordered the London Broil - it was delicious and well prepared. I had a Caesar Salad as of of my two sides - it was very fresh and ample size - large enough to share. My wife had the bacon-wrapped salmon with sweet potato fries and a fresh vegetable stir fry that included at least 6 different veggies. Excellent preparation and very good value. For dessert I ordered the fried ice cream - a very pleasant surprise, even with a choice of vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream!
Daddy's Kitchen is a great local resource. I live about a half hour away - it's well worth the drive.
I had the burrito and it was very good. However I would recommend the mushroom soup it is amazing
Ordered some Mexican styled dishes and was very disappointed. Chorizo and queso were good, but their chips were very plain.
The al pastor was bad and Mexican rice tasted like the $1 packets you can find at grocery stores.
The gf ordered a french dip which tasted fine, although it had too much salt. The potato chips were stale.
Service was fine and staff was nice, but one of the cooks was singing very loudly so that was strange. Very affordable.
