The food is okay. Be aware they add 18% tips without letting you know, even with take out order.

Delicious bowl of rice noodles in hot stone pots. I'm a slow eater so I appreciate the stone pots because my noodles stayed HOT until the end.

I ordered the tomato soup with beef (B3) and it's delicious, not spicy. Good portion size, gave me a decent food baby in the end.

Highly recommend the sesame balls (E24), they are sweet and nutty. So is the brown sugar sticky rice (E14). Love the strong brown sugar taste!

The cucumber with garlic sauce (E12) was also a good pairing with the soup. It's cold and spicy! The sliced beef in Sichuan chili sauce (E4) was also great too! Flavorful and it's a cold dish for those who don't know.

Overall, a great place to eat. I was so full but I couldn't put my chopsticks down!

Cute casual place for a quick dinner. Noodle soups are based on the “crossing the bridge noodle” story. Compared to other places that serve this type of noodle, the ingredients as you can tell from the picture are in small portions. The chicken is really good so get that to share as a side dish.

Service was absolutely awful. Don't bother. The food wasn't worth being treated like garbage by the blonde waitress. They need to get rid of her before she gets rid of their customers.

My 5-year-old daughter and I walked in and were not told anything about dine-in versus take-out. We shown a menu and ordered then sat down. Then our food was unceremoniously tossed to us in a bag and we were told we weren't allowed to stay because we'd ordered take out. When I asked if we could dine-in instead because I didn't know and I wasn't told that, we were told no and that we had to leave. There were several empty tables inside so there was absolutely no excuse for us not to be able to stay. Very rude service. I will not be coming back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to eat here either.

Dagu in my experience has never failed to deliver when it comes to an authentic tasting noodle soup. One of the better ones in this city in terms of portion size and flavor.

Came for the drinks. Variety wasn't huge but a nice selection of fruit and milk teas.

I have been loving Dagu for whenever I am craving hot flavorful soup, and their portions are always reliably large. It's nice to finally find a rice noodle place in Pittsburgh, and their bubble tea is nice too. Eating in is great here since they can accommodate a large group, and their takeout packaging is awesome too. Highly recommend for any noodle soup lovers!

We were two couples for dinner, casual place with good service. First experience for us and we enjoyed it, ordered two appetizers (braised lotus root!) and four noodle dishes. The bang bang chicken is served with bones and basically hacked in pieces (warning). They automatically add the tip but for what we spent, it was reasonable so no issues for us. Fun to try but we left hungry so not likely to be back.

This is a deceiving restaurant - unacceptable behaviors + awful customer service! I give all my 3 stars to the broth taste only.

Please do double check the breakdown of your receipt and if gratitude is also included BEFORE you pay!

I came in for placing a take-out order. The waitstaff just showed me the attached old version of the menu in which B4 rich noodle soup is priced at $12.99. However, I was finally charged $14.99 for it without an advanced notice.

After I placed my order, the waitstaff just provided a simple receipt that only shows the total charged amount without a detailed itemized cost breakdown. Since I had multiple items in this order, I was not able to spot the inaccurate total charge when I was asked to pay by a credit card.

A few minutes later, I was asking their waitstaff to clarify the breakdown of my receipt. They said that the price they charged me is $14.99 and it is listed in another new version of the menu which wasn't shown to me at all when I was placing the order.

I was feeling disappointed and annoyed by the way they do the business and asked them if they can either change the overcharged noodle soup to a cheaper one or provide $2 back. The waitstaff neither apologized nor showed empathy. They were just ignoring anything I said and making an excuse that their manager was not there so they cannot help.

Outside of this, the noodle soup tasted good while it's just rice noodle + pure soup with 1 ~ 3 thin pieces of tofu or mushroom if you do not choose to have add-ons ($2.99 per add-on).

If you're looking for a casual spot to enjoy some Chinese food, Dagu Rice Noodle is a great option. The location is convenient, with public parking available nearby. You can usually get a table without having to wait during weekdays. The food is affordable, with an average price of $10-$20. The rice noodle dish comes with 10 sides, which is a great way to mix and match flavors. However, the waiting time for food can be long, especially for fried dishes. If you're looking for something quick, it's best to order one of their signature dishes.

I LOVED the noodles! So springy and it just reminds me of noodles as it should be ️ I got the classic broth and my partner got the spicy chicken noodles and we finished everything to the LAST DROP. Ok I added some chili oil to my broth at the end but trust me it was so hearty! Perfect as the weather gets colder too. The BOBA THOUGHHHHH - they really hit the nail in terms of the exact amount of sweetness it should be. I got the dalgona and my partner got the brown sugar boba; he liked mine more though he said that the brown sugar was really good too (he finished till the last drop). All in all we will DEFINITELY be back ️

Food is good. Don’t understand mandatory tip. Is this a new normal to dine in? First time in my life. The service is ok, I will be happy to give 18% tip. However, mandatory? Come on, why not call it tax?
