DaMò Pasta Lab reviews
16Fantastic pasta in a casual setting with ordering via kiosks. Great spot for a quick bite!
Small portions, pasta cooked without any type of special touch. Not equipped to handle busy nights. Waited over 45 minutes for a simple, two pasta to go order. Restaurant staff was completely overwhelmed.
I went because I love pasta, but it was very expensive for what you get. I got the large portion of the tagliatelle with meat sauce and a garden salad, yet I was still hungry afterwards. (I'm a big guy, but still.) The "garden salad" is literally just a small bowl of lettuce with dressing - no variety.
The actual food itself is tasty, and the staff is good with keeping track of what goes on. Even though it's touch screen ordering and open seating, they know who to bring the food out to, without needing a number or name for the order.
Interesting place. Just not something to pick if you're on a budget
This is truly Italian (from Abruzzo more specifically) and reminds me of my summers on the hills of the Marche region. Would deserve a Michelin Bib Gourmand
Fresh pasta, what’s not to love? ! Delicious lunch. Love the concept of fresh pasta. Food was great. Inventive and traditional sauces.
Ordered the Norma and the Genovese.
Very good food, convenient, and perfect for take out pasta in a pinch. I will add, however, that the pickup process was confusing and the service was slow - I ordered well in advance on a non busy evening and inevitably had to wait for my food to be prepared after I had arrived, so that was slightly disappointing. But, the food was worth it, even re-heated if you have leftovers.
Unbelievable pasta experience. As Italian expat living in Philadelphia, I strongly encourage everyone to give it a try!
DaMò has been a place so warm to my heart for years now. I am currently enjoying their incredible lasagna. Simply to die for! The owners have been so kind to me and everyone I've brought by, time and time again. Truly a staple of excellence in my neighborhood. For a long time I was also a delivery worker for Uber eats and would consistently deliver DaMò's food and they always treated me with respect and timeliness, frequently offering me water. I also have a gluten intolerance and I can eat their pasta without getting sick which is a miracle, I believe it is due to the freshness of ingredients.
Thank you for your incredible food and service.

The food is good and well priced, and whoever is in charge of the music has good taste, I really like that they played guns n roses
Really good Italian pasta. Interestingly they asked if I wanted hard or soft. I was not sure what they meant and then they explained al dente or not al dente. Please order al dente. Also depending on the dish, if you order for example pasta with porcini and add truffle oil, it will be great. You can build your own pasta for your preference, but honestly selection they had was pretty good, we tried pasta genovese, pasta with eggplant, ragù. All pretty good and fast. Italian hubby approved! We did both dine in and delivery and was really yummy both times
Got the Bolognese and it was good! Large portion, a bit salty for my taste but it wasn't something that deterred. Ate it all!
This was some of the best pasta I have ever had. Staff were very friendly but not overbearing.
The pesto was just amazing. I was sad to leave, but hopefully, I can come back.
We ordered delivery which came fast on a Saturday evening. This is the best pasta I have ever had. The cacio e pepe is the best I've ever had. The ravioli was soft and pillowy, the casarecce arrabbita with pecorino was amazing. These were all vegetarian and they had many other options. We got focaccia and desserts, the bread was delicious but we're still stuffing ourselves on pasta and haven't tried them yet.
I had to stop eating to call the restaurant and tell them how amazing the food is. Please love yourself and go.
Natural born Italian here. The food is what I would expect from a trattoria in Italy. This place would do well there also. Pasta was perfectly al dente, fresh, and delicious. Look forward to trying many more of their menu options.
Loved everything about this place! Choice of portion sizes, good prices, lots of options, and all cooked fresh in front of you. So simple, so tasty.
