David's Bridal, Plymouth Meeting PA

My consultant, Debra, was a true pleasure to work with! She was kind, attentive, and helped me find dress options that worked well with my body type. Heading into my appointment, I had no idea what style I wanted! I can't wait to see her at my next appointment!

**Update, this location is still so helpful, I literally bought a dress and went back two weeks later b/c I knew it wasn't the one, they let me return and pick a new one no problems.

The service at Davids Bridal on Chemical Rd, in Plymouth Meeting was outstanding! As soon as I entered I was greeted by Danielle and the process of looking over dresses was explained to me thoroughly. My stylist Allyse was able to help me try on dresses and she also was able to grab other options quickly and help me to envision some alterations I wanted to make. I was hesitant to go here, bc of a previous not so wonderful experience at a different location. I am so happy I went, I was able to find the perfect wedding dress and it was very affordable. I would recommend this location, the staff was great and there were so many options for all sizes and styles to try on.

I can't say enough about your stylist Samantha! She truly took the time to have me try on wedding dresses that I thought would be the style I liked. While trying on dresses, she was pulling wild cards and had me try on dresses I didn't even think would look good on me! Turns out one of those wild card dresses is going to be my dress! Thank you so much Samantha and if you're reading this you'd look great in bangs!

If I could give 100 stars I would. The selection of dresses they have is awesome. There is truly something for every bride whether you’re skinny or plus size or anything in in between. And the costumer service is phenomenal. Even with all this annoying covid stuff going on and having to wear a mask, it was still an awesome experience and everyone is extremely pleasant.

My previous review was based solely on customer service and the wide selection they have. I’d like to give their alteration department negative stars.
They COMPLETELY cut off the train of my dress without my consent and I didn’t realize until my wedding day when it was too late. The first picture is the day I picked the dress, the second picture is from my wedding yesterday and as you can see, the train is completely gone (it is NOT bustled). Beyond disappointing to pay $1600 for a dress $300 for alterations only to have them ruin the dress. The train was my favorite part. I’d also like to point out that my bridesmaids purchased dresses from this store… they were off the shoulder and both of their sleeves ripped off by the end of the night.

I went to David’s bridal and the beginning my appointment wasn’t the greatest I was about to leave and then Danielle came to my rescue! She didn’t give up on me and I found a dress I absolutely loved! She was so friendly and professional I loved every moment I had with her! Thanks for making me feel so beautiful!

Samantha O.at Plymouth Meeting David's Bridal was absolutely incredible! She truly listened to what style I like, and was so supportive the entire time. In fact, she is the one who picked out the wedding dress I ended up buying! She took the time to think about what looked good on me, and I can't thank her enough for the time she spent with me. Not only that, but she even helped my mom find a mother of the bride dress that same day! We felt so cared for and supported and both my mom and I walked away with the perfect dress. Cannot recommend Samantha enough!

I've had nothing but fantastic interactions with everyone at David's bridal in Plymouth Meeting! I'm a plus-sized bride and found the selection of gowns available at my first appointment to be incomparable to any other place! I wasn't really expecting to find anything I liked, but it was surprisingly difficult to choose between some particularly amazing options. The gown and jacket I ultimately chose were a phenomenal price for the quality. My early discussions with alterations department and recent appointment have all been excellent and trouble-free. I am a sewing and historical costuming hobbyist, so I know my way around the construction and tailoring of formal gowns, and can say from a place of experience that the pricing is fair (I've heard horror stories about bridal alterations) and that I'm confident in the abilities of the staff. I'll update with pics after the wedding!

Great experience for a HOCO dress. Lots of options and great service. Much better quality (for the same price or less) than some of the mall stores popular for HOCO.

David's Bridal was my first and last visit when looking for a wedding dress! My attendant, Beth, was incredibly friendly and made the experience so enjoyable as she was able to find the perfect dress for me based on a few inspiration pictures! She was also able to accommodate a tight turnaround as my wedding was going to be six weeks later, and she was able to make sure that the shipping and my fitting appointments would work within our limited window.

During my fitting, Molly was incredibly diligent and helpful and also accommodated the tight window that I was working in to help make my special day absolutely perfect. The dress was stunning and fit perfectly, and I could not have felt more confident and beautiful. I wish I could give more than five stars!

Horrible customer service. Went in with a scheduled appt to look for a MOB dress. No one helped us, we pulled all our own dresses, finally got someone to show us to a dressing room, but they didn’t put our name on the door and we were walked in on 2 separate times while changing. Walked out and not one person that worked there (mind you 3 people were standing right by the door) said goodbye or asked us if we needed anything. Really rude, terrible.

I had an awesome experience with Meredith! She was super bubbly and quirky, which was perfect because that my personality. She was super attentive and had great dress picks. She also listened to everything I said I liked what I didn’t and went for it. She made my experience amazing

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Did not rush us, enjoyable experience. I found the right dress and great price. I forgot young ladies name that helped us, but will look her up.

We met with Meredith today and had a spectacular experience shopping for bridal gowns. She found different styles that were flattering for me. It was hard to pick one but we ultimately found a lovely beaded ivory dress that felt right! And she set me up for alterations so I’m all set for my big day!

Antionique did not have good customer service. It was not a good experience for my bridesmaids. She said that the dresses we wanted was discontinued and when I went to Springfield David’s Bridal they had the dresses and sizes we wanted. Also she did not put my bridesmaids sizes in the system.

I ordered my dress through David’s Bridal and had it altered through them. The alterations weren’t done right and now I have a dress that I can’t wear without having it altered again somewhere else because they can’t have it fixed in time for my wedding. I’m devastated and feel like I should get my money back for the alteration.

Rose, Alla, Nacia, Molly and everyone in alterations are so nice and helpful! They made my dress beautiful and I feel AMAZING! From all the stylists, managers, front desk ladies to alterations, I will and have highly recommended Plymouth Meeting location. Thank you ladies!

I wasn’t ever planning where the perfect dress for me would come from. In truth - I was never the girl who dreamt of “that day. ” David’s Bridal was an enjoyable experience every step of the way for me. I got to elate joy, cry and be “weird” with the fantastic bridal staff. Everyone was happy to help me find “the one” and exuded sincere excitement when I rang the bell. I felt heard and David’s Bridal delivered on a dream I didn’t even know I had. A huge thank you to the alterations team who gave me sage advice and really nailed it!
