Dawson's Orchards, Inc. reviews
9Good place to purchase apples. Not a showy orchard to take the kids. But if you want to buy good apples at a great price, from good people, you should be here.
I have been trying to find Jonathan apples with no luck (I live in South Carolina). Jonathan apples have been a tradition for Thanksgiving pies in my family- my grandmother and mother both use (d) them and I do to. I hunted all around SC for them. Went to North Carolina. Called places I'm Georgia, Virginia, Michigan, and Indiana. Finally I called here. They had the Jonathans. They packed them up and shipped them clear down here for me. I was amazed at how fast they arrived, and that they didn't get smashed up coming all the way down here. They saved my Thanksgiving apple pie!
My cousin wants push back the wedding or cancel (due to COVID-19) and they refuse to give his money back. I don’t recommend this place for service. Save you money and go somewhere else!
More expensive than the grocery store. $14 a bushel down in Grantville. People are more respectful there too. I wasn't going to give you a review until she looked at me like she knew. Ough no and I'm pretty sure my peaches were not ripe when they picked them. Just an observation as I sit here telling myself, I knew better! BTW they were not ripe. Just got soft enough to eat but they are rotten. Don't come here. Wish someone told us this before we came to Dawson's Orchards.
This is a great place for peaches, until.apples in the fall.
The farm is first rate as are the owners.
Nearest cleanest orchard, well maintained, there's even a little store you can buy fruit. Give it a try. Stop and say hi.
.
For 50 years, family visit this orchard multiple times every summer for legendary peaches. Can't say enough about how great the produce is or how kind the family has been.
Excellent place to get fresh fruit. People there are very nice. Currently they are pick some varieties of apples and peaches.
