Old and gross. Super loud, lots of people hanging out, smoking. So many nicer hotels right around here, avoid this one at all costs.

Mice infestation big time.
Uncaring staff.
Asked about traps and my partner dismissed my worries.

We booked a 3 night stay due to its proximity to the Circle Drive-in for a festival. I’m not a motel snob. That said, we left after the 1st night. It was like escaping from hell. The cable cord was found to be yanked out of the back of the TV. The room reeked of something akin to powder which was applied to mask the aroma of urine in the carpet. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. The people using the pool would simply walk barefoot through the lobby, leaving wet footprints. The complimentary “breakfast” item” … nuff said. The coffee machine didn’t work but rather than put a note on it, an employee would watch you dispense yellow water with a befuddled look on your face before saying, “The coffee machine is broke. ” After listening to the person in the adjacent room during round 1 of his/her violently vomiting @ 3am; I decided there was no way on gods green earth that I could spend another night in this place. So we booked. The bar/nightclub was ok except the poor beer selection & the guy sitting next to us, sizing us up for a skin suit. I could not hate the experience more than I did.

Where to begin? Let’s start with: Roaches, mice, plumbing issues, rusty razor blades, keys that don’t work, no maintenance on site to address issues, and the staff being completely unfazed by complaints about these issues.

Set your expectations low, and you may still be disappointed.

The people that work behind the counter is the absolute best. Dee is the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and Ralph is very well at night shift.

This was the worst place I have ever seen. Bates motel would be an upgrade. The carpet yellowed my shoes. I had to throw them away. The room smells like the last occupitant died in it and still lingers. The perverse staff looks like the just got out of a halfway house for sex offenders…keep your kids close. Plz just keep looking for a safer place to stay because it isn’t here

This is a Wyndham in name only, definitely a low end Days Inn is what you can expect. First room had no working TV or phone. Second room looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Curtains were falling off so there was no way to stop the sun from shining in at 7am. Shower was falling apart. Mattress should have been changed a year ago. I feel ripped off.

From the moment I stepped into the Days Inn in Scranton, I felt as though I had been transported to a 5-star palace right in the heart of Paris. Every detail, every corner of this hotel exuded a sense of excellence, starting with the unmatched cleanliness of the rooms. I was particularly impressed by the pristine state of the facilities - from the toilets to the bed linens, there was not a hint of hairs or traces from previous guests. A testament to their top-tier standards!

The breakfast buffet was not only abundant but thoughtfully curated. The selection of fresh and healthy foods ensured my day began on a high, nutrition-filled note. What stood out to me was the hotel's deliberate choice to exclusively use single-use plastics. In today's fast-paced world, this convenience is something I truly appreciate, and they do it while maintaining quality service.

The staff, however, deserve the highest praise. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth were unparalleled. You'd think you were in a luxury Parisian establishment given the level of service they delivered.

Last but not least, it's evident that the hotel is managed with strict competence. Such a high standard of operation and service speaks volumes of the leadership steering the ship.

In short, Days Inn Scranton doesn't just meet expectations, it far surpasses them. Truly a gem in Scranton that's not to be missed!

They hired contractors to come in and so we heard banging in the walls and carpet being torn up at 7 IN THE MORNING. It smelled like garbage and the jetted tub we paid extra for was spraying water everywhere. I went to complain and she said that the manager would be in contact and there would be a partial refund. There was no contact. All of my clothes smell like cigarettes and sulfur now. Don't waste your money

Nice hotel with a lot of character. People who work there, are so friendly and helpful, I love them. I definitely come back probably next month. They just replaced carpet in rooms too, and it looks fresh, it is greyish-blue design, and looks good.

Overall, a very pleasant stay. The young man that works the desk at night is absolutely fantastic! He was always there to answer any questions I had and was very polite. I believe his name is Ralph. Thanks Ralph!

Always nice. Lolita the manager was so great. Morning staff was very nice and helpful. My family loves the pool. Lobby was clean and loved the fireplace

Bathtub was dirty. The room smelled of sickening sweet air freshener.
The hairdryer was falling off the wall. The pool was filthy. Someone that I understood to a regular in room 108, stole my cell phone and room key. The coffee maker in the room didn’t work.

This place is disgusting roaches everywhere the have mice the workers sleep behind the desk during night shift n the male workers literally bother females n try to get rooms with them one of the workers said something about a minors breast that place is disgusting the rooms are disgusting the workers are disgusting it’s just disgusting

For having non smoking rooms the hallway smelled musty and smelled of someone smoking Marijuana
