From project start to completion, DBC was extremely professional, informative, and knowledgeable. Elliot worked with me in originally hearing out my concerns with a basement bathroom remodel project. From there Barry was able to come out and get me scheduled quickly. Then had the pleasure of meeting Josh, Dana, and Adam and I’m sure others I’m missing. The crew was courteous and kept me fully in the loop with their schedule and any changes to the design. They listened to my concerns and were flexible to some changes I requested as well. The work was done very well and I am very pleased. All in all from my first phone call until the last day, it was under two months! Just in time to meet my needed plans. Thanks to DBC for your professionalism…I felt like I was in good hands every step of the way!

My mother in law just got an estimate from these people to buuld a 24'x4' ramp outside her house. They tried to charge her over $19k. They were planning on using treated lumber so that would cost at best around $1k so i guess they want $18k for labor. These people are crooks so definitely stay away from them.

We used DBC to rebuild and expand our deck, including roofing a portion to create a porch. The construction team led by Khris was fantastic…. They were professional, friendly, and very skilled. All took great pride in making sure every detail was done correctly — to our satisfaction and theirs!
Any of our questions or concerns were addressed and resolved — which hasn’t always been our experience in the past (with different contractors). The new deck is beautiful…… we will definitely use DBC for future projects!

Update! 10/16/23
Just finished our second big project with DBC — kitchen and bathroom renovation….
We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! The whole team was outstanding — and the disruptive process of kitchen renovation was made less painful by the professionalism of Chris and the others.
So glad we used DBC for our project — and will definitely do so in the future!

DBC worked with us on a deck project. They were able to give us a timeframe that we were able to live with. The crew was professional and pleasant. They did an outstanding job from start to finish.

DBC did an incredible job finishing our basement! We have water issues, so we knew we couldn't have drywall. The materials DBC installed made our basement the best room in our house and safe from any water in the future. Sergey and Howie were so professional and so good at what they do. They made everything perfect, even going above and beyond with the smallest details! They even took out two walls and opened up our space. We will only have DBC do any work for us in the future!

DBC did a tremendous job in rebuilding my dilapidated deck, creating a back door and back steps to my home, and much much more work, that needed to be done to my beloved, unique 15 sided home. I had been waiting for a few years for this work to be completed. I was very caution of who I wanted to hire for this work because of the uniqueness of my home and of my ideas. The crew that worked on this project were amazing. Especially Mike, Howie and Amber. Mike is an amazing craftsman. I felt at ease knowing he was the forman on this job for my projects. From owner, forman, crew, sales, and project manager, all were very professional, honest, upfront, and trustworthy. DBC's communication with me, throughout the whole process was outstanding. This was much appreciated. Thank you so much. I would recommend DBC to anyone in the Erie and all the area they cover.

Kevin and Geoff were great to work with. Very professional always cleaned up at the end of the day. Made sure the job was done to our satisfaction. Communication was great. Would highly recommend!

Had flooding in our lower level and DBC was the most prompt in responding, pivoted suppliers when needed, adjusted the workload without issue as new items arose during construction. Outside of the actual work, which was exemplary, the construction crew were genuine in their interactions with us. This is an underrated quality that should not go unnoticed.

We love our new floor! DBC also removed and finished the cabinetry around our tiny refrigerator which also looks just as I invisioned it to be. Kevin arrived on time each day. He is very professional, respectful and pays attention to details. Geoff also stop in each day to ensure the team had what they needed and to make sure project was going as expected. We couldn't be happier. We will recommend DBC and call for any future renovation needs.

We’ve used DBC for 2 home improvement projects in the past 2 years and can’t imagine using anyone else. Their professionalism shines through in every one of their team members and in every aspect of their work. DBC was on time, efficient and careful, and clean. I just wanted to add that Luke saw the construction through to the end and was fast to respond to any additional repairs or adjustments to the new construction. They were quick but not careless or sloppy in their work. I am happy to recommend DBC.

As new homeowners we quickly discovered that our basement likes to collect water. Like, a lot of water! I reached out to DBC and they called me back the same day. Within a week they sent Shane out to take a look and give me options for waterproofing. He explained everything really well without being pushy about making a sale. The system they use is genius and we really couldn’t say no. Mark and his crew came out and did a great job, communicating any issues they had promptly and professionally. He took time to ask us about preferences and explain everything that they were doing, answering any questions we had. My only recommendation would be better communication up front from the project manager, Josh, regarding when the crew would be able to start. Overall we are very happy with the work and I would recommend the company and waterproofing system to anyone. Thanks Mark and crew!

Update 6/11/2023: I just discovered today that the outlet pipes for my new pump system have been simply spilling water back into the ground around my homes foundation. It looks like the crew cut the original drain pipe and added a section for the pump lines to be attached to and then never actually attached them. This means that not only was water pumping from my basement to around the foundation, but the water from my gutters was doing the same thing through the pipe they opened. All this water draining around my foundation actually eroded the dirt and gravel they used to backfill the hole they dug, (thankfully!), so I could see the unfinished work they tried to hide. I really wanted to love these guys but this is beyond unprofessional. We paid an incredible amount of money for this job and I certainly expected better than this. I’ll be calling in the morning and demanding a different crew get back out here asap to finish the job I already paid for.

Update 6/13/23: DBC had someone out to my home first thing in the morning to fix the issue I had found. They were in contact with me throughout the process and apologized sincerely for the poor workmanship performed previously. I definitely appreciate and believe their sincerity. Thank you for making this right; I’m sure there are many other companies out there who would not have done the right thing.

Luke and Cole did a great job on my new deck. They do a quality job and are very professional. Would definitely trust them to do any job for me.

We had a wonderful experience with DBC from the initial inquiry phase to the scheduling of our final walk through! Kristin, Jeff, Travis, Mike, and Howie were all incredible to work with! Their frequent communication put our anxious minds to rest.

After the project was finished, we found a small problem with the flooring due to how our concrete was laid when our house was initially built. Mike came back the following week and went above and beyond to help level the floor out.

The final project is beautiful! We will be using DBC for future projects!
