DCS School of Driving, LLC, Thomasville PA

Got my license through DCS back in 2017. I knew driving was what I wanted to do in life it was a huge goal for me to have a CDL. But, i was not in a financial position to pay the titution outright, or even finance the class. Despite this, the owner still worked with me to help me be able to pay for the class, it helped me greatly. The length of course is much longer than regular truck driving schools. But that's good, in the trucking industry its important that driving students have plenty of wheel time and instruction before being thrown out on the road and DCS gets that.

This place would have gotten three stars were it not for the instructors. Bob is excellent in the yard and Dustin is great on the road, they are both very patient. Chris is great in the classroom if you need help and he's good on the road too, although he can have a very short fuse on the road. Overall though, I did learn the proper way to do things and I learned how to drive a truck, and passed my test. Can't complain.

It’s the owners equipment. He takes you out and doesn’t understand your growing pains. You don’t mean to grind a gear or two. But he gets highly upset. Especially the closer you get to the non refundable part of your money. He has no sense of humor to maybe ease your nerves. I would try other places if I were you.
