Horst repaired a table my great grandfather made over 140 years ago.he also performed a complicated repair on broken cabinet. His assessment, quality of work and sincere genuine care and passion for what he does was very evident. Highly recommended.

Horst did a beautiful job repurposing treasured antique spindles into a delicate side table for us. The spindles had been from an old farm house in Bedford County, later made up the stair case of our family home, and now are in display in our current home in State College. He blended the old with new so beautifully. We couldn’t be happier with the finished project.

For a number of years we had some beautiful slabs of spalted maple stored in our barn. We always wanted to make some of these into 2 end tables and a sofa table. Our problem was that until we met Horst de Lorenzi we had been unable to find anyone who exhibited the craftsmanship and sensitivity to the wood. When we met Horst we immediately felt comfortable in trusting him with our prized wood. He showed us a prototype he made of what he anticipated the final product would look like. The fact that he went so far as to create a prototype was very impressive. His final product was, to say the least, spectacular. The workmanship and attention to detail was everything we could have wished for. In addition, he has refinished several pieces of antique furniture for us. As with his workmanship on our tables, his refinishing was also top notch.

Without hesitation, we can highly recommend Horst-you will be pleased with whatever project you entrust him with.

Horst did an amazing job of designing, making, and installing a beautiful 6 ft.moveable panel to separate 2 of our rooms. This was needed to control our dogs' free access to areas in the house. He was timely throughout the process and a joy to work with. We highly recommend his work and plan to have him restore several pieces of antique furniture in the near future.

Horst made us two pieces, a shaker style dresser initially and then a night stand to match. Both pieces are exquisite, beautiful lines, and the craftsmanship of the very highest standards. Horst did a great job of understanding what we wanted, showing us examples and then producing exactly what we wanted.

Horst made a desk for me and it's literally the best piece of furniture I've ever owned. He was very helpful through the design process and worked with me until I was happy with the final design. He also sent me updates with pictures as he was building the desk which was a nice touch. The quality of the furniture is impeccable. Horst knows his craft well.

Horst did an excellent job refinishing my mid century modern end table! The table had a deep, black water stain and loose joints. Horst was able to remove the stain, restore the piece to its original color, and stabilize its legs. I was very impressed with his work and knowledge, and loved that he communicated with me throughout the entire process. I absolutely plan to use his services again should the need arise!
