In the beginning I was a patient of Dr. Somers father, when he retired I became her patient. It's not often you will hear a patient say that they love their doctor and her staff makes you feel comfortable when you come to see the Dr. I have built a good Dr. Patient relationship.

Dr Debra Somers has poor business practices and completely wasted my time. I was a new patient looking forward to my appointment, but most importantly I took off time from work to see her. She canceled all her appointments on my scheduled day—no notice—reinstated the appointments—except for mine—so when I arrived they had no idea who I was! No apology from anyone at all! Just a “theres nothing we can do! ” Dr somers refused to even show her face and I was told that her new patients come first. Well, what am I? Never will I use this doctor or the Elkins Park Temple office where she practices. There are far better doctors who will value their patients time and provide better service than this joke.

I have been going to this practice for 15 years. My Doctor retired and I decided to try Dr. Somers. So far for my first visit I found this Doctor to be very thorough and proactive. I am a 63 year old woman and find Dr. Somers to be one of the best I have been to. She spent a lot of time with me since I was a new patient to her and went over everything and touched on things that happened over the years. I also had my own questions that she answered for me. I couldn't have asked for a better exam. As for the other girls in the office.not a problem!

Very professional caring and proactive on point and definitely knows her career well. Excellent in both her office as well as performing surgeries. Love her and will not trade her for any other unless she retires.
Strongly recommend Dr. Somers. She is by far the best

I know this is for comments to say how you feel about a doctor. BUT. Oh MY God.these people are making terrible accusations and smearing the reputation of one of the best gyn doctors that there is out there. My situation is a little complicated, and she understood everything and I mean everything that is going on.she's not only Extremely knowledgeable, but also caring and compassionate, lets just say without her I would be in much worse shape! Oh and as for her staff. I absolutely love them. If I need something from them it's always. I mean always done. GET MY POINT. I can't imagine anything but kindness ans caring coming from this office!

Dr. Somers may be experienced and knowledgeable, yet is very unprofessional when it comes to interacting with and talking to her patients. She is rude, inconsiderate, and made me feel very uncomfortable and upset. When you are already concerned with your health, you don't expect to go to a doctor that will make you feel even worse about yourself. Highly suggest finding a doctor that actually cares and wants to see you get better.

I am so blessed I was referred to Dr. Somers, I was in bad shape from all the bad care I was receiving from my previous Gyn, my very first encounter and she narrowed right in on many fixes, I love her honesty and straight talk (at this point in my life I need all my Physicians to be just like her, or I'm firing them all and replace them all) I need them to spend that time and listen to me and help me, I'm not another co-pay, thank you Dr. Somers for being you.

Very unprofessional and I felt very uncomfortable for my first visit. Never again I will come to her.
