Would have given the place 5 stars if it were not for the flies. Would not think a high end steak house would have a fly problem. Steak and drinks were excellent. Gotta try the waygu meatballs.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Del Frisco's in Pittsburgh and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped inside, the ambiance was inviting and sophisticated. The attentive staff greeted me warmly and quickly seated me, ensuring that my experience would be a memorable one.

The food, oh my goodness, the food was exceptional. I ordered the bone-in fillet, cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Every bite was seasoned to perfection, leaving me with a savory and satisfying experience. The caviar service was also a highlight of the meal, adding a touch of elegance to the already luxurious dining experience.

One dish that stood out, in particular, was the French toast with smoked salmon on top. This was a delightful combination that I never would have thought to try before, but it worked so well together. The trio of fillets was also a must-try with each cut of meat being cooked to perfection and seasoned expertly.

To finish off my meal, I indulged in the giant lemon cake, which was a perfect ending to an already amazing dining experience.

Above all, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about the guests' experience. Their professionalism and efficiency added to the already luxurious feel of the restaurant.

Overall, I highly recommend Del Frisco's in Pittsburgh for anyone looking for a gourmet dining experience that's equal parts sophisticated and sensational.

The restaurant was really busy, the managers came over and helped us with drinks while we wait to order. Everyone was very nice and respect and the food was delicious. I will recommend the restaurant.

I thought since guests give reviews than it is important that a server can give a review since we love to dine at our own incredible restaurant as well. I have had an absolute blast opening this restaurant since last October after locating from Washington D. C.last summer. I am always impressed of our entire team and how hard everyone has worked since post pandemic to bring the best we have to offer. My favorite steak is a 45 day Dry Aged New York Strip with a “Pittsburgh char” topped with some Gorgonzola fondue…. Just if you were interested about what to get. I wanted to thank everyone and anyone who reads this review for coming by to see us and celebrate life ranging from work, birthdays, anniversaries, or just a moment of freedom in your week. I really enjoy Pittsburgh and think of it as home now. I look forward to all the future memories, and excited to see you dine with us.

The ribeye steak was cooked well, however there wasn't a lot of seasoning. The bone in ribeye was more flavorful. The calamari could have been more crisp but the sauce was delicious. Shrimp appetizer, scallops and filet were delicious. Everything is ala carte. $$$

Nice atmosphere and service. Food is average at best. This was the sentiment by our party of four. First time there for all of us.

Pretty good meal. Service was friendly and attentive. It's a little pricey for what you get, but it does fit with the dining room, which is rather stunning. We'll definitely go again, but definitely a special occasion type of place.

The steakhouse is much larger than we thought.several floors with tables. Word to the wise is to make sure your use reservations and try to go earlier before it gets packed. The honeybutter bread is amazing. The appetizers and sides are great. The two of us ordered the Eagle Table tasting which gives you 2 full-size apps, 4 smaller-portioned entrees, 2 full sides, and 2 desserts.a great choice to get a taste of everything. The steaks were very good but a little chewier than a Mortons or some others we've had. Pricey but a fun chance to try a new steakhouse in the 'Burgh.

I am a Pittsburgh resident with an office in mid-town Manhattan that is two blocks from the DelFrisco's on Avenue of the Americas. Always had great meals there, so I was anxious to try the Pittsburgh iteration with a group of seven this past week. Unfortunately, it was a pale comparison to NYC and one of the worst steaks I've ever had.
The restaurant itself is just gorgeous - very classy, modern, and sophisticated. The waitstaff are very professional and helpful - the restaurant operation itself is first class. If you have never been to Del Frisco's, just be prepared that it is very expensive. Like, "take Ruth's or Capitol Grille and add about 50% to the price for the same basic quality" expensive. You are paying for good food and atmosphere, but also a marquis name in the restaurant industry.
I'll get to the point: The table got the full complement of appetizers and sides - they were all fine. Many got seafood, while four of us got steaks. I got the 8oz filet, Oscar style. Normally, I am a bone-in ribeye guy, but trying to cut back on fat right now. Cooked weight was about 5.5oz; I might have eaten 2.5 oz of the steak and here is why: salt. One of our party got the 16oz bone-in ribeye, he ate less than half of his steak for the same reason. Good God, the steak itself was so over-seasoned that it was bitter and the Bernaise sauce in the Oscar prep tasted like pure sea-water. The lump crabmeat were very small pieces of backfin meat that were as dry as leather - imagine taking beautiful backfin lump crabmeat and dehydrating it endlessly under a heat lamp - pretty sure that was the culprit. The steak itself was prepared to a perfect mid-rare, but the over-use of salt made it inedible. I didn't even want to send it back and give them another try at it. Thirty-six hours after the meal, I had some not-so-pleasant gastro symptoms.
I'll be happy to eat at the 6th Ave NYC location again, but the Pittsburgh location is probably off the list for me. There are a lot of high-end steakhouses in Pittsburgh that do an excellent job - no need to pay the premium for the Del Frisco's name.

My wife and I visited Del Frisco's for our 4 year anniversary (They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne). We just moved to Pittsburgh after living in Las Vegas for 3 years, where we visited steak houses monthly. The quality of the food here is very good. The quality of service by our waiter Jake was AWESOME. Better than I have experienced in some of the nicest steakhouse I have visited. I will be coming back.

My first time dining here for my 50th birthday. The atmosphere and live music was simply amazing Ezra Hamilton was playing one of my favorite songs out side of Christian music "Tennessee Whiskey! " The experience was out of this world and our server Daniel took it to another level with his attentiveness, compassion to serve, and knowledge of the menu options. Daniel helped me pick the perfect birthday dinner and his company was more than pleasurable. Not to discredit any of the other wait staff but I would recommend to personally request Daniel ️ I even had the greatest opportunity to pray for him.
PS
Holland assisted and treated us like she was our primary waitress so Gold star for her as well.
Thank you,
Arland Howard ️️️
