Denny's, Wilkes-Barre PA

Whenever I have a day off, Denny's in wilkes-barre is my go to for breakfast. I request Liz everytime. She is my favorite waitress. She is kind, and cares about her customers. She has been with Dennys for many, many years and does her job so well! Liz is the reason I keep coming back!

I usually just leave a rating for different places but this time i had to comment. Gave this place so many chances and each order gets worse. Spent$50 on breakfast my family didn't even eat most of it took a few bites and threw it in the trash. I ordered the pancake puppies which were so hard old greasy and burnt I couldn't even eat them nor would I want to.smh money wasted again. Save your money or order from some other place.

I had a young man by the name of ALEX as my server and omg he was the best server I have had there in a long time! Very much a go getter! My drinks were refilled without me asking, my food was brought right out to me and not sitting under the hot strip for a long period and his mannerisms perfect! Thank you Alex for a great experience once again!

This Dennys location was dirty and unorganized. The salad I was served had browned slimy lettuce throughout. I had asked for onions on my salad, and they were forgotten. When I asked again for a side of onions, I was brought out a nasty bowl of old, smushy onions. It says a lot that both the kitchen and the sever had no hesitation to serve spoiled food. I picked the browned lettuce out and sat it on a plate on the edge of the table in clear sight. They sever never even acknowledged it.

The waitress we had made me laugh my a** off! The most straightforward and honest one I’ve ever had at a Denny’s which is why I had to drop a 5 star rating. Wish I could be like her at my job!

Anyway, I didn’t have any issues with the food everything was good during my visit. Seems like it’s a hit or miss depending on when you go, according to the mixed reviews.

We love eating at Dennys and this one should be shut down and do everyone a favor. Food was terrible and service not any better. Told person at register as much and they could care less. Save you money and eat somewhere else!

The food was very tasty, but it arrived incomplete, I was missing two lunches and they did not refund my money.

The food was honestly very oily, the red skin potatoes totally burned and with an acid taste and as for the chicken fried chicken, totally salty and burned.

I've been here two times already with my girlfriend both meals I got were fabulous very good big portions and not a bad price everything was great

Great breakfast but prices have really gone up. Our server wasnt the best. Never came back to even ask us if we wanted a drink refill which I had a hot coffee. Had to ask someone else for napkins. The manager even said when I went to pay that he was sorry and that good help was hard to find. Trust me it reflected in his tip.

Denny's - Great Burgers and salads, but I don't care much for their dinner menu.

Waitress to be nice an airhead. We got our drinks but not straw. Ordered our food waited forever. Got our food and waitress walked away without giving us silverware. When we did get our silverware after asking twice. The salad was all brown and we sent it back and remade only to get a second salad also brown. Manager was refusing to remove it from our bill. And no remorse. Also table next to us also didn't get their silverware and had hair in their food.

It's a really good restaurant but not really much to choose from. But they do have new items added to the menu but make sure to look at it closely I ordered a Mac n cheese entrée but the serve it from 10am until 11pm it was okay

Every time I come we are in and out regardless of how busy it is. Waitresses and waiters are always very pleasant and bring out the food hot everytime! I’ve come here about 4 times in the last 4 months and I’ve never had a poor experience!

Michael is the best server! Always smiling. I hear he is a great actor as well. The food is always yummy. I get door dash a lot and it’s always fresh and delicious.

I can say that in my 56 years, I have never had a bad meal at Denny's. Now service my suck from location to location, but the food is always great. Note: I understand late at night. The places may only have one or two servers and one cook. Food is always great service, not always the same.

Very dirty! Doors when you walk In were so disgusting. I had talk to my hand in my sleeve and try to open the door that way once we were seated inside, we tried to look out the window and it look like it was glaucoma in my eyes then I went to the bathroom and I don’t want to tell you that experience everywhere you look this place needs to be power washed with Clorox

Staff was friendly even though we came in less than an hour before closing. We only ordered drinks and appetizers since we had just come from a concert. The food was good, although I would have liked to have had a refill on my strawberry lemonade. Our waiter didn't come back around to check on us as he was busy ringing other customers up at the register.

Simple good food and clearly the best option in the immediate area. Staff was really lovely. I will gladly dine there again.
