The team at Dentists on the Square was absolutely wonderful during my visit. Dr. Sweeney took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions, which ultimately gave me so much peace of mind. She was really friendly and treated me with respect, professionalism, and kindness. Overall, an amazing experience!

I recently visited Dr. Sweeney for a dental check-up after experiencing some sensitivity and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in I felt at ease. Dr. Sweeney is incredibly friendly and caring, creating a comfortable atmosphere throughout the appointment. Scheduling is fairly easy, and the visits are overall pleasant.

However, the fillings Dr. Sweeney performed on my left and right molars have given me quite some trouble. One of the fillings placed by a reconstruction specialist presented with significant sensitivity postop and popped out within 48 hours, which had to be replaced. The other fillings have led to food trapping, chronic cold sensitivity 6 months after the procedure, and have popped out 6 months after the initial filling. '

When I brought up these issues about food trapping and cold sensitivity to Dr. Sweeney, she told me "that's what sometimes happens after fillings, " and I felt she was trying to rush through my questions to get to replacing the filling.

Furthermore, she thought that one of the shadows under a preexisting filling was likely benign, but it ended up being a cavity. The replacement filling was delayed for 6 months, and my cavity grew over that time period.

Overall, I was given the impression that my cavities were relatively shallow, and I was asymptomatic previously but the procedures here have left me with chronic issues including sensitivity and food trapping.

Absolutely the best dentist. I have lots of anxiety around going to the dentist and everyone in the office is so understanding and calming. Very grateful I found this practice!

Fantastic office. All the staff is so wonderful and understanding. They do a great job of making you feel comfortable. I came to Dr. Patel for multiple visits and I am extremely pleased. He fixed some lingering issues as well as helping with some aesthetic/cosmetic issues. If you’re looking for a dentist in Philadelphia, make sure you go to Dentsits on the square!

Being a dentist myself, patient care is crucial for me and I strongly feel like Dr. Roberts and the rest of staff at Denstist on the square provide the best means for a wonderful experience at thier office to make you feel like home and comfortable. Dr. Roberts have been very thorough in tracking my dental needs and recently, I had an amazing experience of having two crowns prepared, made and delivered within same day in office utilizing the advanced digital scanning and 3D printing technology. Dr. Roberts took his time to carefully prepare the teeth to avoid an unnecessary need for root canal therapy, which can often happen in these procedures as a result of damaging neurovasculare in roots. I highly recommend Dentists on the Square for a trustworthy dental experience of all kinds.

Definitely the best dentist I’ve been to! Dr. Patel is awesome and their hygienists like Anthony are the absolute nicest!

I had a bone grafting (periodontal procedure) done by Dr. Getreu on Friday involving removing an area of the roof of my mouth and using it to support my gum supporting a lower tooth. The experience was as good, smooth, and painless as it could have been. He was very good at explaining the procedure in common terms, being patient, and setting expectations for recovery. He answered any questions I had. He also offered his cell phone number and made sure I felt comfortable contacting him if I needed to. Before, during, and after the procedure, I had a very high level of confidence that Dr. Getreu would do as good of a job as possible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Also, Bonnie is super nice helping with insurance, scheduling, and other questions anyone may have!
