DermDox Dermatology Centers, PC, Sugarloaf PA

I have medical anxiety and find that most doctors/medical providers that I’ve seen are impatient or are easily annoyed by panic attacks. I saw Kali Schirra today to have a spot removed from my leg and had the most pleasant experience ever! She and her assistant, Kelly, made me feel very comfortable, they were both super sweet and understanding when I had a small panic attack prior to the procedure. Once she started, it was very quick and entirely painless. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a derm, especially if you also struggle with anxiety!

they never answer their phone. When you call, it goes to voicemail which gives you two options either wait online for someone to pick up or leave a message. I chose to wait for someone to pick up the phone. Twenty-three minutes later, still, no one answered the phone. You must leave a verbal message of what you want and then wait for them to get back to you. I left a message on May 9,2023; today is May 16,2023. They still did not respond. This office strictly runs by telephone service. I am calling to make an appointment with a different doctor!

Everyone at Dermdox is super friendly and knowledgeable. You're never waiting to be seen and the office is clean. My prescriber/Derm was Kali Schirra. She's bubbly, friendly, and knows what she's talking about. Will continue to use them for all skin and hair needs.

Everyone in the office is kind and helpful. I never have to wait long. My instructions are explained very well. The whole experience is a breeze!

I was just 15 minutes late for an appt (bad weather delayed me) and was told I can't b seen. I even put a deposit down 3 months ago. I said I would wait but Rena the receptionist said they only allow being 10 minutes late. REALLY! I should of asked for a manager but her uncaring demeanor was making me mad I just wanted my refund & get the hell out. I will highly NOT recommend the Sugarloaf office.

This place is a ripoff I purchase two different packages one for hair removal of $1,200. And one for a 14 yr old gurl which I paid $800 or a little more. Which were made in çopies separated each reciept. I MISS ONE APPT FROM THE 1,200. I should have a amount of $1,150. I went in person they told me I wasn't in the system some one else very kind help me looking up my name. And because of that they didn't have no more option but tbyo speak to me in regards of the money I told them I wanted to get my treatments.
Which they didn't offer me that option neither the manager named Britt told me I need to get the Receipt of the $1200 I call her today now she tells me they still will only give me $720 and now is requesting the Receipt of the other treatment that I purchase for the gurl which was $800. Which I purchased separately from my treatment of $1200. If I would've known these ppl are this type of way I would've never purchased 3 lotion for $345.00 with out counting another lotion I purchased when I purchased these packages that I paid for but never received because it wasn't on stock. I hope my lawyer will be able to help what doctors office doesn't keep on file all these reciept on record.

I chose this place cause geisinger sucks.
Gesinger thought at first glance it could be a cyst and gave me a referral to a skin doctor. Except they said they won't treat an angry cyst that's infected and my antibiotics didn't respond and I just couldn't stomach anymore. So now I'm thinking I'm going to go septic and die. Great
So I asked for suggestions and found myself here.
I got an apt the next day!

I was seen by a super bubbly PA and two other staff members. He seemed like he just graduated yesterday, so I was scared as hell and not expecting a definite diagnosis.

Well in 5 minutes I had a diagnosis basically a pregnancy tumor and although I was ready to give birth in two days and were apprehensive about treating me, when I said the pain was really bad, I was ok with the risks they happily treated me on the spot.

A few days later and the tumor fell out, the skin looks great underneath and 90% of my pain is gone at just first treatment.

I would definitely come here again.

It also probably was a bit harder to diagnosis so the fact that they did. I give them extra credit.

Amy & the staff a the Gilbert office were extremely nice and helpful! Amy answered all of my questions and went through different treatment options. She listened to my thoughts and concerns and we came up with a treatment together. The visit was not rushed and I did not feel like a number like at other dermatologist offices. Also, the office was very neat & clean! I highly recommend Amy & DermDox Dermatology!

I have been seeing this doctor for years for various different treatments from laser treatments, cysts treatment to fillers I had made a deposit for laser as I usually do but recently traveled outside the country so I called to reschedule upon arrival and was told that my deposit was forfeited due to needing to reschedule when I Made my deposit I was told if I needed to reschedule it wouldn't be an issue and deposit would just move to next available date! I'm very disappointed in the way the person who answered spoke to me very dismissive and not helpful at all I also paid in advance for fillers hoping that I didn't just pay for fillers and that I'm still able to use the syringe and a half is already purchased! I love the Dr. It's a shame that I was told today that I'd lost my deposit for laser and when I explained that I was out of the country and would need to reschedule the person who answered wasn't helpful very rude and hung up on me after telling me I forfeited my deposit! I feel this should be mentioned prior to taking ones money I've never missed any appointments and have had to reschedule due to laser person not being available! Such a disappointment especially when this has been preferred doctor of choice for years!

Went there twice a month for almost a year with a dermatitis that they just couldn't resolve. Also took my son a couple of times for a rash and they couldn't resolve that either, gave up on them

I went and saw Rebecca for a spot on my face. We discussed procedures for my skin while I was there. She suggested a lip flip. I had that procedure done that day. Ever since I'm having problems eating and drinking. It is getting better as time goes on but it would have been nice if she would have informed me of what may happen after a lip flip. I made an appointment to go back for what I thought was hydrafacial. When I got there they said it was for microneedling. I decided to do it. The procedure was quick under 10 minutes and it hurt so bad. Little did I know that they should have applied numbing cream to my face before this procedure. I literally had tears and had to hold my breath as she did it. I will not be returning.

Every visit I been to has been very great the top doctor I can't remember his name but he is extremely good very understanding and very attentive to patients also the nurses Mary and Zac are excellent they get things done. Highly recommend this place for skin problems and anything else thank you all
