Desimone Auto Group, Philadelphia PA

This is the worst place I ever had to deal with. I should have looked at the reviews first, but I was in a bind. Someone hit my car while it was parked and this was the closest place. My insurance company quoted $3,000 with about a 9 days finish time. Now almost 1 month later, they said it will cost and extra $3-4 grand. WHAT! No one ever answers the phone or return calls. I always have to drive there to find out the status. They didn’t even notice a cracked windshield that was from the accident that I had to tell them. Do not take your car there! I’m still waiting to get mines back!

UPDATE: They told me my car was ready and when I went to pick it up, it still wasn’t ready. Things weren’t finished when they were supposed to be done awhile ago. They’re also still asking my insurance company for more money. This place is horrible! Now the total cost is about $10,000.

Grateful to FINALLY get my son's vehicle back! They are thorough in their job. Just wish I didn't feel like I was getting the run-around. Should never say by a certain date. Then turn around and say otherwise.

Had work done on 2 cars, body and engine work, (Lexus & VW), A-One service all the way around, highly recommend.

I highly reccomend this place. Amazing customer service, clear communication on what was wrong with my car, and reasonable prices.

I've had my vehicle serviced in good places, but this one right here DeSimone just goes above and beyond their services. I took my vehicle to be inspected with an appointment and they took back the vehicle immediately while I was waited. The whole time I was waiting in the waiting area all they did was ask if I needed anything, would I like an espresso, coffee or anything that I needed. They continued to check on me during my wait. Their services are great will always come here if I were to need any type of services on my vehicle, even if my car needs repairs due to an accident. No games or play, just great customer services.

You know u. Hate to need a body shop but when you do I recommend this shop. GREAT WORK. Even detailed my truck up.

I just want to keep it plain and simple, i left my car with a broken glass to be fix which they did but i found some new scratches on the back of my car and interior too that shouldn't have been there in the first place. My car went to the bodyshop two times and after my car spent almost 1 month in the bodyshop i'm not that happy with the result, the point is their work is careless and does not care about the customer's vehicle. So i will tell everbody that i know never go to that place to fix their car and please stay away from this auto bodyshop!

They saw me on the side of the road and convinced me to cancel my AAA tow in favor of this shop. Since i was in distress i agreed since they appeared to be close to my business. They moved my car without my consent to their north philly location and then LOST MY CAR. They never told me they moved it and then held my car for days until they opened again and that when i found out they LOST MY CAR. Do not use them!

Repair is okay — just okay.
Communication was lacking (phone call was promised and never made, and when I showed up later that day, a touchup was quickly thrown on the car)
Worst was that I was insulted by an employee who addressed me in a very inappropriate way while apparently trying to get my attention to ask if I "needed water. "
I'd never go back here, even if it is within walking distance.

They did an amazing, excellent, quality and awesome job fixing my vehicle. I recommend this company for any car repairs.

I cannot rate Desimone highly enough. To start, I had a dent in my KIA which I took to Nigras Autoshop to get looked at and they told me would be a few thousand. When they came and looked again they told me 3-4 thousand. I went to Desimones for a second opinion and it was the best decision I made all year. First of all, they were extremely courteous, understanding, and willing to work with me regarding my insurance (and lack thereof). Secondly, they ended up quoting me at 1,000$! Literally the next autoshop was going to charge me four times that. Not only were there prices incredible, they did a fantastic job with my car, worked quickly, were communicative the entire time, and their customer service and culture cannot be beat. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. I, and everyone I know with car issues from now on, will be giving them my business. 5 stars is not enough.

Excellent service so far! Even gave me a loaner so I didn't have to go thru the headache of getting to a rental place after dropping car off for minor surgery.

The worst place ever to take your car. We had an accident and they came to tow our car saying that they Will cover everything and made sure the car is all good before we got it back. They took more than a month to fix it, and by the time we went to get our car back, the hood of the car doesn’t close properly, the back bumper ain’t all fixed, after being paid almost 13000$ from our insurance company, they still said the insurance didn’t pay for it. They never call you, and when you call, they said they were waiting for spare parts, then another time we needed a new battery? Our car was new too. Then we needed new tires and blah blah blah. Anyways finally they gave us our car with some things that still needed to be done, our cleaning stuff missing and no detailing as they said they did. Horrible experience!

Avoid at all costs. It took them a week past the estimate to complete my car. When I went to pick it up half the work they were paid to do had not been done. There was body work that was completely neglected. They were supposed to replace a few wheels and they just polished the damaged ones. They were supposed to replace siding on one side of the car and instead they just ripped the siding off the other side to make it match. They promised to fix everything they had not done but upon returning they had not and still tried to pass off damaged parts as new. It has been a month and the paint they did put on the car is already peeling. They're actually criminals. My experience made me angry enough to seek legal action. This place should be shut down.

I got exactly what I came for quickly and for a good price. Same day service with a smile.

Communication was terrible from the start. Had to call multiple times every day nobody would call back had to go down in person to see about progress they told me they were waiting on parts. Picked up my car there was overspray all over my car. Damage that was supposed to be fixed was never done. Found new parts in the inside my glove box where there was change taken and a laptop from the back trunk. They never put the letters tellaride back on my front hood. They put the old broken brackets and parts on my car instead of new ones. A couple other problems. I know this sounds unbelievable I would not believe it myself but here's some photos. I was wondering why I was rushed to pay first before looking over my vehicle.had to pay first then they brought my vehicle outside to me. My insurance company also called them and they did not have much to say. Now I have to take my vehicle to another shop and have them fix all the stuff they did not do.by the way there was a small area where the paint was already peeling. Also a couple other issues. Obviously they did not have any quality control to look over my vehicle before it was brought out to me how the person who brought it out to me did not see all the stuff. We'll keep everybody posted. I keep remembering more things to post they also got overspray on the inside of my headlights and told me to take it to a Kia dealership and ask for warranty to replace them LOL I am very sad extremely sad and disappointed with this company. This is not a personal or slander this is all the truth I had a friend with me.have many more pictures. Insurance company told me after I have repairs completed anything left over to send to DeSimone. The one thing that did look very good and well done was the windshield.

Not happy at all.got a great quote but the service is the worst. Planned a date for my car to have 2 strips spayed plus a dent on the back panel. Was informed the it will take approx 3 days. When I Brought my car in was told a different story now it will be a week. I then noticed after that for 2 days my car was just moved obviously to get to another car as I have the T mobile app on my phone. Called a week later for an update was told that the work had just started and that they were in a great time frame, while at the same time my hubby on the line with another person who told him that no work had been done yet.smh They don’t call you with any updates you have to call them, numerous times and then the phone will just keep ringing. I will keep you updated as how good the work is as this is not an insurance claim.

Love these guys! They know how to treat the customer. Extremely fair and honest (dont hear that too much about dealerships And auto-shops). They go above and beyond. Highly recommend
