Diane's Discount Pet Supplies & Adoption Center, Pottstown PA

Friendly staff, well stocked, and live animals are treated properly. One of our three rescue pups came through Diane's and we couldn't be happier.

My daughter was in the store today with a friend to buy a “poncho” for our dog. While there they were looking at the fish tanks. They noticed multiple dead fish in the tanks. My daughter wanted to tell the lady working their because maybe she wasn’t aware of how many were dead. The lady was very rude to her and had a bad attitude. I feel that the lady that worked there would not have treated her that way if she hadn’t have been young. Disappointing as first and last time there. And I spend a ton of money a month on my animals ‍️

Awesome pet store they have rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, dogs, cats, fish and many reptiles they also sell all the animals products you could think of they always have puppies and older dogs you can look at and pet as well as cats and they keep on top of cleaning the kennels which is nice so they don't run around in they're own waste.

They had friendly staff and cute dogs but you must pass there 2 week online application, which took 3 weeks to get back and still needed more information about my pass dogs. So long story short the dogs we wanted to adopt weren't even there so point less.

Employees were very helpful and friendly. I came in with my grandmother to get her a bird which I knew absolutely nothing about. The ladies were extremely helpful and getting us the bird we were looking for and the stuff we needed for it. Also some light background on how to feed and keep up on the maintenance which was greatly appreciated. Great staff great prices great place!

The kittens and puppies were cute.
Diane's always have whatever dog or cat supplies that I'm running low on.
They also have an extensive avian section.

I love this place. The staff is great and always helpful. The animals are healthy and well taken care if. I shop here all the time.

I could not agree more on the fish I selected from them. Not only to they beat other pet store companies in pricing for fish, they are much more healthy. They keep fish in long 10 gallon tanks, do not overstock the tanks with fish, and when a fish does die I see employees taking out the dead fish rather than being lazy like other stores. They have a great staff and many other pet supplies other than fish at their store for much better pricing than other pet stores. Anyway, I selected a Red Fire Guppy, a Bumblebee Guppy, and A Elephant Ear Guppy from them and they are beautiful and healthy.

Picked up an amazing 5 Month old Hound Mix (Baxter) now named Booker! The entire experience from spending time with all the puppies to getting help with all the supplies we would need was incredible. Diane's is about 40 minutes out from me, but I am willing to make the drive to pick up his food and toys just to support the business! Thank you all for being so awesome!

We recently adopted a Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is an absolute joy to have in our home. She has been in our house just a couple of days and has won our hearts. Diane's Discount Pets staff were super helpful. We were able to spend time with just about each dog they had. The staff were all happy to help us swap out each dog so we can see if we had a good fit for our home. When we decided on Anatolian Shepherd mix, they gave us guidance on supplies that we would need. Small store that is well stocked, great adoptable pets, caring staff. We highly recommend this pet store to all who have a kind enough heart to rescue a pet.

Didnt let us get a dog because we had two outdoor cats that never came back we did want to rescue a dog instead of buying one but they didnt let us

I just wasnt impressed in the store. I'm not saying it's a bad place. It just didnt sit well with me.

I love the hatchery and adoption animals here. I also tend to get some pet supplies. Occasional staff glitches but they are overlookable if that is a word.

Great. Good prices. Hate to see the big dogs kennels and upset but they seem to change regularly so they ain't staying long n adopting out quickly

Love love love Diane's! They are amazingly nice and know everything about the animals and their care. They are all true animal lovers and it shows in everything they do.

Small pet store feel with big pet store choices. Surprisingly large selection of fish, birds, dogs, cats, and reptiles as well.

I have been coming here for years and would highly recommend Diane's. I have gone for reptiles, birds and cats and dogs but on average mostly for fish.

I love this place! Got my cat and dog from here and I come here to buy my rabbits food. Doesn't always smell amazing but it's a great place to add onto your family or visit some animals.
