Nice country butcher, smells great when you walk in, nice selection of meats and German meats.

Put 'cash only' on the billboards and all over the store. I wasted my time shopping here to only be told 'CASH ONLY' but I could use their ATM with the fee. No thanks. It's 2023, not too many carry cash these days. If you don't want to cover the fees for accepting cards, I sure as heck don't want to cover the fees especially for the high prices you're already charging. Not a loss on my end

We go here regularly to but miscellaneous items. The prices are fair and their products are great. They have a massive selection of meats. We purchase our lamb through them and the quality is excellent. Proud to have these fine people providing great products to the public.

Was the only place I could find the cut of meat I was looking for. Was very happy with them and their products

Visited recently and got dried beef, pastrami, whole ham, and a shoofly pie. Won't have the ham until Christmas, but everything else was exceptional. Wish I'd bought two pies!

Good place for fresh meats. Sometimes u have to wait ur turn. Overall quick service. Good people.

Great place to shop for meats, cheeses, jams and everything you would hope to find in a country farm store. Bacon is marvelous!

I've been coming here for many years, I drive three hours to get here. They have the best Scrapple, pork roll around, not to mention all there other meats, They use real wood to smoke their meats. Places like Detricks are few and far between. Sometimes it's so busy you have to wait awhile to get helped, but to me it's worth the 6 hour round trip. Thank you for a great quality store.

I love this family. They are amazing. Been going 8 years and just decided to get half steer and half pig. EVERYTHING is so fresh and we love it. It was like Christmas morning packaging all the meat. Thank you and see you soon. ️️️

If you like smoked meat and sausage this is a must stop if in the area. We've been coming here for years and wouldn't miss it. Beef jerky, country sausage, Lebanon bologna, etc. It's all great. Bring cash though as no cards accepted. ATM on site. We love the snack sticks for munching while driving down the interstate!

Great place for old fashioned traditional PA Dutch meats and other related items. We like the scrapple. Be aware that it is a cash only store.

The staff was unfriendly, they didn't wear gloves when handing the meat, they don't accept plastic but makes you use an ATM that steals $2.00 and to top it off a mother and her 5-8 year old little girl asked to use a bathroom but was told they don't have public restrooms.
My first and last dollar was spent at this store.
I had high hopes.

Quality is SIX stars.everything I've had is absolutely wonderful, and I love that it's made by them and not just repackaged from some large plant. It's a little bit pricey, but I can forgive this, because the quality and workmanship are worth it, and they deserve to be paid. My complaints are: the shopping experience is chaos if it's crowded. There's no line, or a way to make one. The employees seem to just take who's standing in front of them, and don't care if it's some pushy Karen or the person who's been standing there watching people get taken in front of them. No deli numbers, no place to line up, just a 30 foot counter, customers standing in the shopping aisles, and a someone yells "who's next? " Second, they don't take cards. Cash only. They will, however point at an ATM across the store, where you pay like $3 (the owner of the ATM is Diedrichs meats) to get money to hand them after you get back in line.

For us it's bit of a trip, 40+ miles, but well worth the investment and time. The quality and tast of everything is amazing. This is our goto stop.

If you're looking for the best scrapple & bacon around, this should be your one & only stop! Being from northeastern SC, we don't have any meat markets that even compare. Every trip to Kutztown means an obvious to detour to Dietrich's. Be sure to bring plenty of cash so you can stock up on your favorites.

Terrible customer service! Went to buy 4 steaks for dinner, and asked for the NY Strips. I was rudely told that they were expensive. I said I know, I want 4 of them. I was made to go to the ATM first, I think to prove I could pay? Ridiculous. I wasn't dressed poorly/sloppy, I came from work wearing a business suit. I was completely mortified, as the other customers there were staring at me. I should have left without purchasing anything. Then to top it off, the steaks were only mediocre at best.

Go to local farms stores. ACEC in Shoemakersville and Lafaver in Tilden Twp. Great service, prices and better quality. ACEC sausage is to die for!

From the moment we pulled l in to opening the front door, I knew this smokehouse would not disappoint. The sweet smokey smell greeted us and our eyes feasted on all the amazing meats, cheese, and local canned goods.

1st time going there today and place had great meats and other jarred condiments. Glad i drove the hour 2 get there. Definitely will go back again
