5The greatest library! So much to do for kids! Very unique play area! Absolute best ladies who work at the library! They are very kid friendly and extremely sweet!
Stopped by for the first time for the book sale and it was awesome! So many good finds from 50 cents books to $1-$5 books and movies. It was extremely organized throughout the entire place, categorized by genre. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. There is even a variety of items for free. The building is absolutely stunning inside so I recommend stopping by! It has a kid friendly area where they can make crafts as well.

A hidden treasure right in the heart of Jim Thorpe! The balcony adds the perfect touch along with all the little alcoves of books. If you like books and reading them, this is a must visit place. Just walking into it will transport you several decades into the past. The staff are also very nice and friendly.
It's a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle in the town (because all those that have been to Jim Thorpe on the weekend know how many people arrive to enjoy the same things too). Subtle serentity with a multitude of outlets to enrich oneself and have a good time.
