15Breakfast was amazing! The grits are spot on not too many places can make it but they can. I highly suggest paying them a visit.
Definitely a spot for breakfast! I mainly get the Lumber Jack plate but everything is delicious
My husband and I had gone here several times pre-COVID and has always had wonderful meals. Last night we took our adult sons with us for a family dinner… and I was rather disappointed. What was once a real menu was now just two sides of a sheet (and a list of the specials that day). And for someone with dietary restrictions like myself, my choices were EXTREMELY limited… Normally when that occurs, I go with the standby grilled chicken Caesar salad, but there wasn’t one. I have horrible acid reflux that nothing touches, I haven’t been able to eat fatty meats since I lost my gall bladder, I have high cholesterol and aortic stenosis and am lactose intolerant. I know, I’m a hot mess… And, sadly, my diet is limited. Everything on that menu was either spicy, came with cheese or bacon (or both), was in a tomato or Alfredo sauce or something I just didn’t feel like telling the waitress the 50 things to omit from it (leaving me with pretty much nothing) so I could comfortably eat it. So I chose a chicken sandwich with Asiago, spinach, pesto (sans tomato) and, unfortunately, bacon… I have heartburn from the pesto and the bacon is causing me a lot of discomfort today. It was delicious, I won’t deny that. But everything on that menu was mostly artery clogging. Aside from salads, there aren’t really any healthy options in the menu and I miss that. They did is phenomenal, don’t get me wrong, but I was disappointed in the lack of healthier options and options for people with limited diets.
D 248 is really a bistro. Restaurant.
Always very good and I highly recommend this establishment.and yet again.was great. Isabella was most excellent. Thx
Out of the diver's I have been to this one is by far one of the best I have been to. Highly recommend breakfast lunch and dinner
It was meh. The home fries were all crisp and barely any potato. Asked for crispy bacon and got previously cooked then nuked bacon so it was tough to bite into.
As a family we all love this place. My daughter raves about the chicken and broccoli Alfredo, son says best chicken fingers and French fries, I myself get any of their salads. Breakfast is always great too!
Their breakfast specials are awesome. 3 were dishes I'd never seen anywhere else! There were 2 adults and 2 kids in our party, and after we ordered, I don't even think it was 5 minutes before they were there with hot, fresh food. Everything was delicious. The staff was awesome. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.plastic or regular silverware for the kids, type of seating, insisted on helping us carry things. Our waitress seemed.tired. She wasn't overly friendly, but everyone else was welcoming. It was super crowded, yet no wait time for anything. I'm very impressed. Thank you Diner 248 for making a special 4th birthday breakfast for my baby girl!
Lunch was delicious. I got the Patty Melt and fries. For the price, I think the portion of fries was small. Our server was attendant and polite. Great place to go. Plan ahead.this place is packed.
The 248 diner is a good place for breakfast. The food is good everything is everything one would think a decent dinner would be.
I’ve been here at least 5 times. I have gotten something different each time and everything has been great. The salmon is a favorite of mine. A lot of people love the wings.
Our meals were delicious, first time at the diner, and this will be our favorite stop when we are in the area!
Excellent customer service never had a bad experience here very family friendly only thing I would suggest is kid friendly menus to keep Littles busy but otherwise an excellent place.
Delicious for breakfast or lunch. Can’t go wrong here. Music can be very loud in dining are beside bar.
Wife and I stopped in for breakfast. The place was busy so we thought "how bad could it be"? Well. The only thing they didn't mess up was the coffee and OJ. Eggs Benedict was barely above room temperature. Obviously sitting under a poor heat lamp for a long time. English muffin was cold and hard. The Canadian bacon was missing from my order. The side of sausage links was horrible. Some kind of finger sized stuff, pressed to look like sausage. NOT a wrapped sausage link. Cold and tasteless. Absolutely zero effort to serve a decent meal here. Won't be back.
