GRACE is the best. I started getting foot massages once or twice a month 2 years ago. She has learned all the right joints and pressure points to concentrate on without directions or guidance from me. It makes me feel like I'm back in Thailand where I would get a daily foot massage every night before sleep. Amazingly strong hands for such a petite young lady. Now I have Grace do an hour deep tissue body massage after the foot massage when I have the time. I am so pain and stress free afterwards. COMPLETELY RELAXED FOR GREAT PEACEFUL SLEEP!
Thank you Grace. See you again soon.

Everything was great. I got a 60 minute foot reflexology. Place is cash only. They charge 8% if you use credit card.

OMG, I went to this place on a whim two days ago. Drive by a bunch and figured id give it a shot. Had a 30 min massage as my back was stiff. The lady who worked on me was so brutal and legit hurt me. Today, two days later I can barely walk and I ended up at urgent care. I’ve not got a pinched sciatica nerve from her being so aggressive with me. This is legit the worst pain I have ever felt. Totally not what I thought from a massage. Steer clear.

I have been to plenty of massage and foot spa and Ding Shi certainly has become my favorite place. Not too fancy setup, but, they have all the amenities in a very clean, santized spa. Its always relaxing to have my feet pampered every week. Gentle and vigorous combined pressure on my soles, toes and ankles always gives me a great vibrant feeling. I spend most of my time at work at a retail establishment with very limited seating time. Price is worth it definitely. Overall, I have a great experience and would surely come here regularly.

I went in today for a tension headache I have had for about 3 days now that was so bad it was debilitating. The masseuse climbed onto the table and dug her elbows into me and it felt like she was untangling every fiber of muscle. Her grip was incredible. She lasered in on each knot without it being pointed out. When I was done I looked younger and felt reborn. I can’t wait to go back.

I liked it, not expensive and no nonsense. Took me right in and serviced the feet. Definitely going back.

My fave place for foot massage in Philly is here. I like strong kneading pressure on my soles, its just relaxing to let go and she put effort into it. Price and staff are great!

This place is Philly's best kept secret! I get a 2 hour massage every month (1 hour foot & 1 hour body) for under $100 and its amazing! No bells and whistles.just great, strong, solid massages.

One of the strangest massages I ever received.and I've received a LOT of them from all over the world.

The Good:
-
The place is clean, has decent lighting, is far quieter than some places I've visited, and is in a strip mall with decent parking.

As to the massage - it literally was one of the best BACK massages I've ever had!

The masseuse used plenty of oil on my back and really found all the spots that were bothering me and worked them out. With a Passion! She was FIERCE and unforgiving but it was really fantastic. If you're looking for a deep tissue BACK massage then this is the place to go!

Again.let me reiterate the BACK part because the rest of the massage was very odd.

Now on to the Not So Good.
-
The tables are not the worst but they are not too comfortable either. They could use some new padding and more comfortable face rests.

Also the shoulders and arms massage was firm but not really great. Far too much time was spent on forearms, hands, and my head (yes.the back of my head). With a deep tissue massage most people want these to be an afterthought - not main parts.

Lastly the weird.
-
In all of the places I've ever been I've never had a therapist have me roll over onto my back and cover me with a full length scratchy towel. Sheets - absolutely - but never a towel. I explained the towel was uncomfortable and scratchy and she acknowledged my concern but did nothing about it.

Note: I *never* go full nude in new places either - so I did have boxers on. Can't imagine what that towel would have been like on the nether region! *OUCH*

This also happened to be when the time ran out on a 60 minute massage. (see above - too much time spent on arms, hands, and head).

So.here we are - a 60 minute massage with absolutely ZERO front work done. No front shoulders, neck, pecks, and worst of all no quad work. All were completely ignored. Times up - that's it mister! Never in any visit to MANY other massage therapists - has this happened. It was a total shock to me!

When I asked about about front work the therapist said time was up and more time is extra cost. I asked if I bought more time if she would work on my quads, since they were really tight from working out 6 days a week, and she said yes.

I agreed to 30 more minutes.and here's the strangest thing.she never uncovered my quads! She rubbed my quads, knees, and calves through the scratchy towel that I had already told her was uncomfortable and itchy. I explained this and she said that they don't use oils, or uncover the legs, on the front of anyone.at all.

I explained my displeasure at this and ended our massage at 7 minutes into the 30. I paid for 10 minutes extra (thankfully she didn't rake me over the coals on that!) and left a small tip (for the back work!).

My Overall Rating: 3 Stars- ALL of them for the back massage part only.

Owner/Manager:
-
If the front areas had been addressed with as much enthusiasm and gusto that she had put into my back, maybe using some of that time spent on arms, hands, and head - then this would have EASILY been a 5 Star Rating!

So there's my genuine review of this place. Hope you enjoyed reading this:)

The combo foot and back massage was perfect. Just what I need for ongoing weekend work! Great quality massage so will be back before next trip.

I usually go to Tibet foot spa down the street but since this one was cheaper I tried it out. Let me tell you, the lady I got right now is so rough I’m wide awAke. She’s digging her nails into my toes n feet. I’m jumping all over the place What a waste of a foot massage. Maybe some of you people like it rough but I like mine soft and relaxing. I can’t relax my leg right now and she should know that cause I’m pulling my leg away from her. I don’t want to be rude so I’m just on my phone trying to forget abt it. Never again

Great foot massage, but not reflexology. (Perhaps I didn't get the right massage therapist, as I was a walk in, but as mentioned, still a great massage!)

Like most Asian foot spas, the lighting is dim and your chair is separated from others by curtains. The 60 minute foot massage comes with a ten minute upper back massage and that is amazing (so my advice is to splurge for the extra 30 minutes to make it really remarkable.)
